I am A-Boogiano aka A-Boogie, people started calling me that, I think because of the character in the Motion Picture 'Paid In Full', who had more than a hustle. The character in the movie wanted to provide for his family without busting his ass every day for somebody else, he wanted to be legit. I was always an artist even back to days of my youth when I would draw, you know being influenced from cartoons & comics. The drawings started turning into images of cars & lowrider trucks. Kids in school used to ask me to draw their names, I mean this was in about 3rd or 4th grade. When I got even older I started doing murals & painting graffiti. i was never a fan of vandalizm on peoples private & residential property, I then start documenting the Hip Hop culture (Bboyin', Graf, Music)-and this is what got me into doing Video Production, from my small steps in documentary projects. I never got too far in college. Almost all of what I do, from video editing and setting up shots for Music Videos, was self-taught. My creative eye was definitely molded from my life in this urban world I was braught up in.

I am a Independant Director/Editor/Video Producer. I believe this was something I was meant to do. Using the term "Image Poetry" which I first heard from my mentor Artistik is definitely fitting when it comes to these works I create.
