About Me:
 
Allan Bonner has helped approximately 35,000 senior executives, over twenty years, to deal with some of the most controversial and public issues of our time. He has worked with the military, including Peacekeepers, the Provost Marshall, JAG and the Military Complaints Commissioner, international diplomats, domestic, central and offshore banks, 11 oil, gas and chemical companies and other blue chip clients on five continents. Allan has helped eight heads of government, thirty five cabinet ministers, G8 and UN delegations, the WTO, NATO as well as CEOs and diplomats around the world. He has worked in Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore, Canberra, Budapest, Geneva, Bled, most American States, Mexico and all Canadian Provinces.
Allan began as a journalist and now holds graduate degrees in political science, law, business administration and risk, crisis and disaster management. He has taught at the college and university level and is currently teaching "Damage Control" at York University and graduate research and writing at Osgoode Hall Law School.
He has been trained in both negotiation skills and leadership at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. His studies in dispute resolution were at Osgoode Hall Law School. He has a Second Degree (Dan) Black Belt in Goju-Ryu Karate.
He is the author of several books, and has been a contributor to Marketing Magazine, Law Times, Bout de Papier, Internal Communications Focus, Canadian Corporate Counsel, The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen, The Calgary Herald, The National Post and Winning Campaigns, the largest circulation political magazine in the US.
He is a regular key-note speaker whose recent engagements have been on five continents, and most recently he chaired the International Centre for Infectious Diseases' National Business Summit on Pandemic Preparedness, Mitigation and Recovery.
