The story of MOVAIZHALEINE begins in the early 90's. The members of the group were high school students experiencing the Hip Hop fever of the time. From the beginning, the group places itself as a strong activist in causes it believes in such as Pan-africanism, rehabilitation of black history, African unity. Movaizhaleine is a blend of reggae and old-school which is the result of the inspiration they gained from influential groups such as burning spear, Culture, public enemy, N.W.A, krs one but also from Central Africa's cultural identity (griot mvett, bwiti, sacred harp).A pioneer of the Gabonese Hip Hop scene, MH is the oldest group still alive and kicking hard in the rap community. It has 4 albums under its belt and more than a hundred spectacular showcases in Africa and France (Elysee Montmartre in December 2007).

MOVAIZHALEINE nait au debut des annees 90 alors que ses membres ne sont que de jeunes lyceens contamines par la fievre du HIP HOP.Des le debut le groupe se positionne clairement comme engage et militant autour des causes en lesquelles il croit (panafricanisme, unite africaine, rehabilitation de l'histoire noire). Musicalement on retrouve l'esprit du reggae/rap old school qui les a eduques (burning spear, culture,public enemy, N.W.A, krs one) et la richesse culturelle de l'Afrique centrale (griot mvett, bwiti, harpe sacree). Fer de lance de la scene HIP HOP gabonaise, MH est a ce jour y est le plus ancien groupe de rap en activite. Il compte 4 albums et des centaines de performances scenique entre l'Afrique et La France.
