  • I have a stone grill with no lid can i still do it and if i can how?

  • @WBRMIG I am not sure how this would work, but I assume it would. It is definitely worth a try. I would be careful to scrape as much salt off as you can before cooking. With a grill, the salt fals off while cooking, even if you don't get it scraped off before cooking.

  • I want that on my table now.

  • @CatCuteGirl I just had one yesterday.

  • Yeah man, that's it, that's how we make bbq in Brazil, you're right!

  • is this sea salt ?

im not from america so idk what rock salt is

  • @2ttsi Wait what?

  • @thewaffleshirt what cind of salt is this ?

  • @2ttsi It's just called rock salt. Just search it on google, you can also probably find it in any grocery store.

  • @thewaffleshirt Since making this video, I have started using Kosher salt instead of rock salt. Kosher salt is cleaner - intended for consumption.

  • @2ttsi You just want to use salt with large grain size, so it can be scraped off easily.

  • @chuvak1 Ok :)

Im so gonna try this !

  • I came here 'cause I was hungry :/

  • Just do what he says. Not on youtube. Honestly, just try it. Don't just think about it-try it.!

It's quick and easy and every flippin female on this planet will KNOW that you have skills.

Just try it. I didn't think it would be true either.

Try it for yourself. This was the best steak I ever had. Hands down.

    Thank you for this video.

Throw a thumbs up if you tried it for you or a woman.

  • It's in Argentina not in brasil ...

  • this vid is so fake cuz steak is disgusting! who wants to eat cow but

  • over half the people watching this video doi it out of curiousity

  • @kendambu What, the other half are forced to watch or something? Everyone is on youtube out of curiosity.

  • @chuvak1 let me clarify... curious on what could posssibly be on the video

  • ICE CREAM!!! salt???

  • oh u like your steak with mashed potatoes? so does everyone else on the planet

  • is frying the steak ok?

  • @BruceLeeRock25 No. Please don't fry your steak.

  • @chuvak1 why?

  • lol two spears of asparagus keeps your wife happy.

  • @xSirDingo "You are still believe on your parents fairy tales about the human nature" LOL.

Since when was having your meat bloody NOT a part of our survival? I know hard core vegetarians that have to pop pills to maintain a certain level of either Iron, etc etc. so I guess in that aspect, eating meat IS a part of our survival. Not only that, it's the survival of other animals as well (lions, cougars, etc.)

P.s I got no clue how you got the concept that vegetarians cannot be racists..

  • I really want to try this now.... I mean next summer. Damn winter ruining my barbeques >_<

  • @TheHonp Winter doesn't stop me from firing up the BBQ.

  • tried it , AWESOME

  • mosti important thing is to make your wife happy :D

  • There are some forms of roasting that involve completely covering meat with a mound of salt before throwing it in the oven. When it's done, the salt is cracked off like a shell, and the meat inside isn't overly salty - just moist and flavorful.

  • @chrisbranscome I had that once in Turkey. They poured some alcohol on the salt cake and lit that on fire to make the presentation a little more spectacular.

  • I'm not looking at the steak! i'm looking at the mashed potatoes and the gravy!!! P:

    i'm hungry!

  • But will it blend

  • or, buy a slab or Himalayan salt, heat it up on the BBQ and cook your meat on that.

  • The only question i have is how you got a wife in the first place?

  • @RJMBrick Chicks dig guys with skills - nun chuck skills, computer hacking skills, grilling skills...

  • @chuvak1 I've got nunchuck skills!

  • this is like a dry brine, and yes it works very well , we use wet brine to make the best turkey you will ever eat ... great video

  • I jizzed in my pants!

  • im trying that tonight

  • hungry now god dam it lol

  • in case nobody else has mentioned it, the salt coating will pull proteins to the surface, which will make the sear downright awesome. as for cooking time 5 minutes a side seems a bit much to me, but seems to me that you can make your own choice at that point. really depends on the temperature of your particular grill, 5 minutes sounds like what you would use if its at a pretty medium temp, if you can get it nice and red hot, 2 mins would do. but it also depends on the cut.

  • "the ruffeges there are just to keep my wife happy" best line ever

  • im so fucking hungry now :/

  • Comment removed

  • I ate this once in a spanish restaurant

    It was fuckin amazing

  • I like how you keep your wife happy. Very considering.

  • BULLSHIT!!!!!

  • @laganaerata Not bullshit my friend :). Thats how we Brazillians make our churasco :). It's loved by everyone who loves meat. I reccomend you try this yourself to see. Tastes much better over a fire too than on a grill. But don't leave the rock salt on the steak for too long or the steak won't taste as great as it would.

  • btw i'm a french canadian sorry for the bad english

  • you are eating meat for proteins heh? not because you like it heh? just and at the same time you blame asians eating dogs, cats etc.... fucking hypocrites

  • @grkaskader Who give a fuck about what asians people eat ... ? if they want eat a cat i don't give a damn fuck

  • @BrockSteel

What about dogs? Asians eating dogs as well. You dont give a damn fuck for this too? Or you just hate cats?

If yes, i wish someone kills you and feed your meat to cats.

  • @grkaskader Na im a cat lover i don't realy like dog and if a human kill me and feed cats with my meat thats not the same thing ... if a bunch a cat kill me and eat me im ok with that the stronger eat the weaker thats the way it is.

  • @BrockSteel

You are not the strongest. You are not the smartest. You (we) are just the most evil.

You can also eat broccoli but i guess you are eating what you like (like most people do), not what you need. You cant call this "normal" just because you can do.

You can call it speciesism or fascism. Or do not think at all (as you do) and continue eating whatever you like. If you are not living in woods you have to be informed that the last ice age is over before 10000yrs

  • @grkaskader i work out 18-20h/week do power lifting I eat red meat once a week a lot chicken 4-5 times a week i realy hate fish and i try to eat it once a week at least i eat a lot a vegetable 5-6 times more than meat and yes human are the strongest (and by strongest i dont want i say physicaly) human strugle hard since the beggining to be the strongest i dont understand why its evil .. Animal can eat other animal but human cant ? just because we are way more evolve ?

  • @BrockSteel

Only because it`s not natural. Its just murder without reason. Taste and addiction, is not a good reason to kill. Human anatomy proves that people are made for eating vegetables .

You will sick with so much meat you are eating. I m doing martial arts for 20yrs+ and been athlete in semi and full contact fights for couple of these years. I can assure you that i had much more energy and power as vegetarian and not as a meat eater (with much better and planed diet yours)

  • @grkaskader every people need different things each Blood group need different kind a food if they want to push their humain machine maybe for example a O (the oldest blood group) need a lot of meat i sware if i just eat vegetable toffu etc.. (i eat toffu sometime can be good) never il be strong like i am now

  • @BrockSteel

Thats just a big lie. Its just a tottaly unproved and useless theory. Vegetarians, vegans etc are from all blood types and any human race/type. In average, they are much more healthy. This is a fact from stats. Its not a view. Have a good night.

  • so, if i m stronger than you i can eat you? can i?

  • @grkaskader thats cannibalisme and autodesctructing or race dog don't eat dog ..

  • @BrockSteel

Yes, but if i give your meat to feed other animals is not cannibalism, is excaclty what you are doing because you are the "strongest". So, again, if i m strongest than you i can do it?

  • @grkaskader Its the same thing if a wolf kill a smaller animal and and share with the pack .. People raise beef and kill it for food for the rest of the people so they can focus on other things and the people ou raise beef can Take advantage of what other people focus on ... come on .. love animals its ok but love animals more than human its wrong ..

  • @BrockSteel

I have to remind you that people are killing people every day for less important reasons than food. For power, money and their ego. Because you are able to do something that doesnt mean you have or is ethical to do this. Thats my point here and not killing people to feed animals. You dont need to eat meat, you eat meat cause it tastes good. If you have raised in a veg way, you couldnt stand the meat smell.

  • @grkaskader War its another things war its natural i thing animal do turff wars and kill other animals for their good but thats realy another subject i cant say its right but i cant say its wrong too

  • @grkaskader and if you talk about kill a beef for feeding my dog or cat .. ok i can see the problem but i thinks the problem is more on having animals for pets and do like they belong to us thats sound more wrong to me then eat animals (but yes i do have a cat but this motherfucker leave like a king lol)

  • @BrockSteel

you have a cat but dont give a shit if asian eating cats?

i think animals have rights. i cant give rights to people take advantage of - gaining from other animals with every way they can imagine. Its not about loving people more or less its logic if you taking rights seriously. If you have to do this for live and feed yourself its ok, now its not about survival its about good taste, gourmet food and human "nature" addictions.

  • @BrockSteel "is more on having animals for pets and do like they belong to us thats sound more wrong to me then eat animals"

tottaly aggree on this. We basicly take advantage of animals for LEATHER, FUR, WOOD, EXPERIMENTS, SHOWS, PETS or just for FUN, for feeding our EGO...

FOOD is the smallest crime as we are too addicted to this diet from the day we borned.

  • @grkaskader btw i respect all off your say you like like a good person but maybe to good for this world lol ;)

  • @BrockSteel

I m not so good, i m just trying to bea little self honest, fair and do not hurt anything if i dont really have to do . I m working 12 hours per day 7 days a week and its really everyday pain ass what to eat, is not easy. But body and mind feels great, so no complains.

  • @grkaskader Dogs and cats are PETS in just about every country you insolent fuck. How many people have cows as pets? Very few people classify them as true pets. Why do we think it is gross? Because we don't grow up eating those foods. Quit being a fucking baby. If people didn't eat meat you wouldn't be here. Quit being racist, too. Not a lot of asians actually eat cats and dogs on a somewhat regular basis.

  • @xSirDingo

I am a racist? You are killing for fun and you call a vegan/vegetarian racist?

You are still believe on your parents fairy tales about the human nature, and you call me a kid?

Why are you here dude? You want your steak juicy with its blood? Is that some kind of survival?

I was a fanatic meat eater for 30 years, i had my theory, i was eating meat cause i learned in that taste before i was borned, as probably you and most people in west. And i also liked my steak juicy with its blood.

  • @grkaskader YEAH! We were borned!

  • why you eat this? are u still living on ice age? ok i know, it`s delicious, so, what about canser? is canser delicious too? bon appetti ;)

  • I've eaten this a few times! (my mom is brazilian)

  • Holy crap, thank God you washed that salt off afterwards. There's no way I would've eaten it cooked with that much salt. Looks good though.

  • @GaxAngel The scraping the salt of step may not actually be neccessary. Most of the salt will fall off during cooking anyway. If you are cooking on fire you don't need to scrape. If you are using a gas grill, its a good idea - so that you don't get all that debris in your grill.

  • you sir just got one more subscriber

  • 'O'

    .,.

     .,.'

    '.,.

    looks soooo goood

  • 5 Minutes a side? Are you fucking crazy?

  • @R0YB0T Your grill may differ. Of course the thickness of the steak also makes a difference.

  • yea right i began with lil wayne - how to love, next, then guinnesworldrecords, then creepy people with 2 heads, and then this video ..... FAIL !

LIL WAYNE - MEAT ?? whats the different :)

  • @MrTurkishb0y I'll bet this was the best video you saw in that thread.

  • nice nice nice niceni nice

  • This is delicious

  • Poor animals!!! They suffer all their life so that people stuff their bowels! sorry

  • @Doshula I love animals. They are delicious.

  • @Doshula Yeah... Its called ¨Nature¨

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @NTMD5 Nature, but not for the man of sense! Its called imposed habit of meat eating from the childhood and therefore human addiction to the taste of meat.. Everyone realize it but continue to close their eyes and kill animals..

  • @Doshula Man did not rise to the top of the food chain to eat broccoli.

  • Comment removed

  • @chuvak1 Ants are at the top of the food chain.

come on man, this is basic first grade stuff!

I get the point you are trying to make though.

  • @Doshula Yeah I know it IS sad but thats how it is. I mean, if you go to the jungle and a .. lets say a Tiger comes for you, it will not stop chasing you, biting you, and eating you, just because he does not want to kill you! We need proteins, MEAT has that. Sorry dude but there is no ``Poor thing´´ in this game called Life.

  • Comment removed

  • @Doshula Hey, it's either that, or a wolf kills it, t-bags it, and eats it.

  • hahhah he said he has a wife...hahahah funniest thing ive heard today :-)

  • @WankerChode69 well it is true, but your comment made me laugh.

  • @chuvak1 bleh u made me feel like an asshole now -_-

  • OMG U Has same plates as us =D

  • WHO IN THE NAME OF PISS EATS ASPARAGUS WITH STEAK

  • @Thefakemovietrailerz Like, I said in the video, its there just to keep my wife happy.

  • @Thefakemovietrailerz I eat asparagus with steak, its fackin good.

  • I was thinking the same thing. 5 minutes, damn

  • mmmmm...... salmonella, YUM!

  • looks like its covered in sodium xD

  • Good, now how you do to eat it?

  • Kept clicking 'Suggestions' videos baked as fuck and after 3 hours this is what I ended up watching?

  • @kurbo2 Sorry it took so long for you to get here, but I'm sure you are glad you finally made it.

  • @chuvak1 Haha your smart-assidness (Not even a real word) is impressive. Good to know you know how to deal with trolls, as for your videos - good job bro, you've earned another subscriber :).

  • @iMCobra21 Thanks. I like to think that not only my videos, but also my comments offer some good humor - at least sometimes.

  • @kurbo2 holy fuck me too hahahah

  • 1:05 thats what she said

  • @XxXChappersXxX I would say that I get this exact comment about 1 out of every ten comments on all of my movies. Make sure to watch them all and find all the hidden TWSS oportunities.

  • hahahaha viva os ´´gauchus``

  • Why am i watching this D:

    Im hungry now

  • @REALLRAPMUSIC The title is "Steak" pretty simple mate.

  • we have something similar in our culture called "namak tikka"

    namak = salt

    tikka = barbq meat

The essential trick while preparing that is that you dont wash the meat, it has to be fresh, unrefrigerated and with a healthy percentage of fat on it. sprinkle with salt and put it on the grill.

  • What if your a vegetarian :(

  • @Monstermaster007 you wouldnt have clicked on this video :))

  • @Monstermaster007 Then it's still the most delicious steak.

  • @Monstermaster007 Don't eat steak....

  • @Monstermaster007 Sucks for youuu :D

  • A few problems. One its not a Ribeye. Two you did not use charcoal. Three you did not use pepper & garlic with that salt. I also make the best Prime Rib anyone has ever had using the same Technique with the salt but you need Garlic & pepper as well as that salt. Happy cooking :-)

  • Thats the normal amount of salt I take. Noting special. ;-)

  • @ApplejeZus ur fine and healthy, your body must be used to it and your immunity is far better then the rest of us. my grandpa has eaten raw meat all his life, not for meals but a snack before accualy cooking it (other readers: dont get any ideas, you will get sick)

  • Hey, are these steaks supposed to taste exceedingly salty?

  • @Deadn00b2 it probably shouldnt since it only sat for 10 minutes and you brushed the salt off

  • After watching this video , I feel hungry . . .

  • thats fking terrible.

  • that is a good looking steak.

  • the reffage is just there to keep the wife happy.. ha

  • here, in Brazil, we never, NEVER, put the salt in meat before the bbq. Just in the same time.

  • Perfect. This is way of making a true brazilian barbecue(churrasco gaúcho).

Try it with beer and you will never forget.

  • Clearly you have never been to Black Angus...

  • at first i was like GOUT and then you said to brush it off...

  • you dont have a wife

  • Yummmmmy

  • souvlaki is the best

  • I have exactly the same dinner plate set

  • use a sous vide machine

  • Haha... this how americans can cook in a so original way :))))

  • Salting the steak like he does here draws the water out of the steak, the water then dissolves the salt and a little bit gets sucked back in, flavoring it through. The salt also breaks down the protein cells in the steak making it tender

So short version is you're flavoring and tenderizing the meat at the same time by doing this.

Only suggestion i'd make is keeping the salt on a bit longer to really give it a chance to do it's work. Generally speaking, an hour per inch of steak. :) Good vid

  • yummy yummy

  • isn't 5 minute too short? how does comes out? rare? I like medium rare,, so that would be 7 minute?.. i guess i can just try my self! great video! thanks,

  • Whats with the salt? Enjoy your heart attack.

  • the title says it World's Most Delicious Steak!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @EVOjaptuner well read

  • lol heh your wife is proud now lol

  • Wtf why would i wanna eat this now there is like nasal flossing beside it O.o

  • Please make the video without too much moving of hands/ no hands in the video at all cause i need to make a science folio on preserving food

  • so much fucking salt, no wonder 90% of Americans are getting too much sodium in their diet.

  • @Orgysauce rub it off, mr tunnel vision

  • garlic and onion powder....

  • Lol wut?? rock salt, isnt that shit posiones??

  • FFS I tried this and my steak got fucking salty and i had to throw it away, guess my salt was too small and all of them coudnt be brushed off

  • no pepper or garlic? i just cant do it garlic is in my blood.

  • @Jeffersen08 Just because you and your unhealthy family are addicted to it doesn't mean we "all" are, I actually care about my health unlike you.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jeffersen08 Don't rage at me cause i care about what foods i ingest. Very original calling me "dopehead" too, I give u props on that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jeffersen08 Hypocrite.

  • 10 to 15 min ?!? i'm fucking hungry!

  • what is rock salt and where can I get it ???

    btw : I'm from KSA

  • @nig3r salt from minerals and you could probably get it at your local store

  • Im definitly going to try this out!Im sick of eating "just steak"

  • @sukarestu

The salt dissolves into the juices to create a salt-juice mixture. This raises the boiling point of the juice so it doesn't dry out.
