Nikki and Mick play a whole step down, so where you play the 3rd fret, you should really play the 5th, thus causing the bass to produce a darker, fuller tone. Plus, Nikki plays some chords in the bass to resemble the school's bell toll. I'll be uploading a video playing my cover. You should check it out once it's up.
Great bass sound! Because of this video I realized, that why on earth I should pay about 1000 extra dollars for Gibson, if I can have that killer sound with Epiphone. Great video, nice playing.
