  • It's the law--you're stealing property and reducing sales revenue. I find it fucking disgraceful how people try and argue that their stealing is justified in some way--just admit you fucking broke the law and that you did something wrong.

  • @warlocksarewatching Value Punch Drunk Love over the King of Pop, you're a fucking genius.

  • Ahhh damn I was hoping that YOU are going to jail and I came here to gloat. Change the damn video name.

  • the pest pirates live in India, no copyright laws.

  • Thumbs up if....

People that download the movies and sell them, thats wrong.

People that download them for personal usage, i think shouldn't be "told off".

They should be credited, but i think that if they really need all that money, lay off of the luxury shit and live in our homes.

Personal note - not all families have enough money for fun stuff. Money doesnt grow on trees and they need to think about them in our shoes.

  • nah jackie chan, i like free movies fuk u

  • You are too young and naive. People like free stuff if they aren't willing to pay for it. You value the labor's effort? Well start to buy stuff with your own money to see how painful it is!

  • The reason being is that Apple do not allow apps that can download videos from YouTube and other public video sites. Therefore, they told the IPod Touch applications developers to remove the code from their piece of software or else they would go against Apple's policies that they have set in place. The likely reasons for the action to take effect were; Apple do not want people to download videos, because they fear that by doing so, will result in terrible consequences.

  • @alhyper Apple sucks.

  • i think its good for people to pirate but also bad. movie pricess are OUTRAGEOUS now a days. $25 for a dumb movie? is just not worth it. but when someone pirates a movie, the people get no credit

  • You sir, are a lout, an idiot.

Something you probably don't know. Illegal downloaders spend MORE money on movies and music than non-downloaders. Throwing them in jail = less money for you. Jesus man, why don't you think for yourself instead of being spoon-fed government kool-aid. Try to come up with a creative solution instead of using government coercion.

Your costing yourself a lot of money by advocating this. If you had it your way, all your customers would end up in jail. No more 4 u! pig

  • I think a real artist worries about not being seen instead of punishing people who "stole" from them (without actually depriving them of anything). Video stores are already going extinct and theaters probably won't be long for this world either. Don't fight the technology that'll keep movies alive a little longer. Make renting a movie at home easier and sooner and people won't pirate as much... unless they're broke and can't afford it anyway, at which point you wouldn't get their money anyway.

  • @GrantOnTheRocks

    Totally agree with that.

Personally, if I was any kind of artist, all I would want would be appreciation.

The money would just be extra.

  • i download movies from a site that states the movie has to be 12 months old , not well known, obscure, unobtainable and will never make much money if widely available. if i see a new release that i want to see i go to the cinema better than watching pirated copies on a tv.however if they warn me about downloading cult movies who nobody's even heard of , i will stop downloading, stop the journey's to the cinema and buy the latest releases off the market stalls only AS LITTLE AS £1

  • that tree on the wall looks like a vagina

  • LoL....

who really cares...i go to the movies when i think its worth seeing in a theater, but if its a movie like Dont Mess With The Zohan.....wats the difference.

  • yea going to the theater is 'special' and everything, but it's very expensive, plus the fact that a lot of movies out there really aren't worth 5 bucks to rent, let alone 20 to see in a theater. secondly, yea, the creators put a lot of work into it but do you really think illegal downloads hurts their wallets that much? 14 of the top 30 grossing movies of all time are 2004 or newer, which i guess we can call the 'age of illegal downloading' and 80% of the top fifty are after 2000.

    explain that

  • fucking jail for downloading a movie thats a fucking joke

  • haaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • stupid asian prirating is for europeans

  • I have netflix so I watch them when they are out on dvd. Why go to the movies and pay 50 bucks for my wife and I to watch a movie and have a soda and some popcorn. Thats why people pirate them, its getting to damn expensive to go to the movies

  • There getting better with tracking so hopefully soon they will just ticket everyone that steals sh*t. They should just set up stings, you download something it then sends out the information of the downloader. Simple

Some reason people keep talking about these companies that they make enough money but don't see all the little people that just make a living for working for these big companies. You Steal their Sh*t they just lay off more families.

  • This is straight theft! Your teaching people how to steal other peoples stuff? WTF!?!

Do you know how many family's and kids need the jobs to live from these companies your stealing from! All you see is the logo of these companies but don't care for the family's that make a living off creating these cool things to keep us entertained. There already slowing down making new stuff and they're going to stop if they can make a profit and every thing will get old fast.

    Sad times ahead!

  • so what who cares people download shit all the time. so! i bet you did some, little cock ass

  • So eventually the industry gets their money.

What is garbage is that there are all these dvd rackets and mafias out there absolutely bleeding this market for every penny and yet they pick on the random teenager for downloading some movies onto their pc that they probably watch on a monitor and don't have no intention of making any profit from.

Anyway.. Wolverine was awesome, even if it was the unfinished version, selling copies for £10, pm me if your interested.

    (ps. I AM JOKING)

  • it makes things a little bit fairer. As if Hollywood needs more money..

You have to look at it this way. Think of the population of movie goers/dvd buyers in the world.

Out of those, its only a small proportion who actually download a movie and can burn it onto dvd or connect their pc to a tv for viewing, or stream. The rest buy theres from those guys selling dvds on the streets. And most are not happy with the quality of any pirated dvds.

    contd.

  • For example i watched ' Knowing' online because i predicted it would be another Hollywood dud. But after watching it i was quite surprised. It had some of the best disaster scenes i've ever seen ! So now i definitely want to see it on Blu-Ray.

Your not going to get top quality video and audio from downloading movies on the net, except for maybe old movies. So really, this works well for the industry.

Considering that Hollywood makes alot of junk that we are duped into watching, this way ..

  • Well any real fan of movies would want to see a movie in all its epic goodness at the cinema.

And just by looking at some of the copies available online, your better off at the cinema !

But sometimes keeping up with all the releases is just impossible, so streaming a movie from the net is the perfect solution if you find a good copy.

But heres the magic part.. that only leads me to wanting to either buy the dvd for a proper Blu-Ray quality picture or go to the cinema to see it.

    contd.

  • broo..what the fuck are you talking abot..you want something pirate why pay the hole price when you can buy it for a cupple dollars.. jajaj... and pluse youre own people are the best for these kind of shit,,, so.. shut up sit down and enjoy the free shit...!!

  • lol seeeeeeeed!!!!

  • is it illegal to download or just watch them

  • good point

  • this is stupid! if i wanna dl a movie..u cant stop me. I do prefer the cinemas but when i dont have time...ill dl the fucking movie..and u cant stop me! haha! btw..no one really cares about the effort put into making the films, cause really, its a job that the film directors etc enjoy to do, and they're getting filthy rich over it anyways...if the movie turns out to be a success, if not, then it would be hard to find on torrent search engines anyways...so its not getting pirated!

  • Watch the Kid Rock Video... HE will sQuash The ISSUE

  • I dont think they should go to jail, getting a fine is alright but goin to jail no... not unless your selling them. If you only downloading them for personal use i don't see why that is worth going to jail, losing your job, having almost no money and having your life go down the drain... I dont see the point in that, give them a fine, and a big one so that they dont do it again.

  • nah i'm using the internet..who the hell actually pays to see movies anymore? oh ya you

  • i just bootlegged your shitty youtube video, just can't find any buyers..lol..fuck you dude..the "full experience" of going to the theater? solution..get a decent home sound system, some nice furniture, turn of a light and trade a 50 cent bag of popcorn for the $8 ones, and your central nervous system will have a hard time differentiating the two "experiences" too bad for the mpaa and riaa, their mediums are just dying..

  • So your gonna wait the 4-5 months to watch the movie at your house to save 10 bucks? And let me tell you, a "home theater system" isn't exactly cheap. A good t.v runs about 2-3 grand. A decent sound system about another 2 grand. The cost of dvd's (or probably blu-ray) couple hundred bucks. THEN the price of the blu-ray player itself is another couple hundred bucks. I say its a damned waste of money.

  • wait 4 - 5 months? what fucking internet are you using? 99 percent of all the movies that are on my local theaters sign are also available on my computer at any time....also some of the rips now are in HD, so the quality issue is mute..

  • Im not talking about digital copies. Im talking about "old fashioned" disks lol. And are you using a service like netflix or something? B/c thats ANOTHER fee to add to the pile :-)

  • omfg ppl, pirating movies, illegal, done deal, fu all go to hell

  • yea go to the movies watch a film and record it on ur cam while you are there comon make pirate dvds and sell em theres quiet alot of money in that plus sum of us dont av alot of money and have to break sum little rules to make sum money to pay for dinner

  • LOLOL It's cheaper and you can watch it over and over again. If I don't download it I would never go to the theaters to watch it anyway so what's the diffrence if I download it for myself and when I never watch it to begin with. I think the only people that should be fined are people who actually sell stuff not the people you download it for themselves.

  • Like i think this is a joke i mean come on are you going to send a kid to prison because he downloaded a movie,

i think they should be paying more attention to the crime rates in the US.

  • hey i bootlegged this youtube video!!

  • good vid
