if you have watched there other comparisons you would know how much of a phony set up it is, in the heat comparison with the can am they look at a kawasaki brute force screen that overheats in 16 minutes 39 seconds because the outlander wouldve won and the 750 brute only lost by 2 quadlengths and is 100cc less brute force and new 2010 can am outlander 800r xt with dps are the best.

I have a 2008 Brute Force 750 and I love it, I do wish it had power steering but it was not an option at the time. I don't care if the Polaris has a little more power, my Kawi makes up for it in looks. Another thing, in the video when they puled the weight sled the Brute would do a lot better if it had wider tires, I think the stock ones are a little too small.
Bottom line is there is not enough clearance on the brute force. You constantly hit rocks and bang the bottom. Also the tires are way too small and when you start upgrading the tires, the whole ride gets bumpy and does damage to the machine. Polaris got it right with massive height clearance, and stock tires that do the trick without the need to spend another 1000$ on new tires and rims. Clearance and tires are reason alone to opt for the Polaris 850 - - -
and just get out and go Ride, and Have fun. Who care's about the Strongest, the Fast or the Best. Yeah, it be great to Have the Biggest Baddest Four Wheeler out there. but as long as You have one to Ride that's all that Matter right. Plus I love Riden Dirt Bike's, but Four Wheeler's are better to Muddin on when I don't use My Truck.

Oscar's right, I have owned six different atv's in ten years. Polaris is far better than the others. Kawasaki does make a fine motor, but their suspension and especially their driveline is the weakest of all the atv's I have ever owned.
I hate Polaris marketing. It's FAKE! Brute Force has better engine breaking system and cooling is good too (lol not 3 minutes). It has much power and suspension works great. polaris last way longer my friends have kawasakis ,and they've been in and out of the shop. I have a 99 polaris scrambler and its been through the same things as their four wheelers and its also oldre than theirs and i have only had to replace the battery ONCE.
theres so many factores like is both in awd and the heating thating was gay becuse if u look at it they put them in high range u kind of put them in low. and like the sled pull how do u know if there acutly both going full throttle.

i live in Utah and there are a lot of atv's sold here.and a lot of places to ride them. i used to work at a place that just fixed atv-dirtbikes. so i am not just saying this i know this for a fact. all of the new atv's are good for most people. me i am really hard on them and have had the best luck with my grizzly. now i know that it is not the fastest. but that is ok.

My ass! I got an 08' Brute Force 750!!! I have smoked every polaris to come my way as far as speed... yes the polaris might be smoother but guess what, it will tip over in high speed corners way easier and it drives like a damn boat! They might have improved the cooling but ill tell ya my quad was caked with mud from a whole weekend of riding and a guy brought his brand new sportman out on a sunday evening and overheated following me on a trail, not a spec of dirt on the radiator! The engine braking test was BS too.. put that Brute Force in 4 wheel drive low range and it will go just as slow or slower... they had in in 2wd high so the damn thing didnt have much braking and made it skid

my friend just got one of these polaris 850 quads--i have a brute 750 -- my kawi dominated at all times against the polaris -- as for power -- the kawi easily pulls on the polaris on the flats and even more so on the big hills -- the polaris power is soft --and the suspention is so squishy that it's belly is always hitting bottom on rocks,and it cant loft the front tires up over cross ditches like a brute easily can
hmm, must be the driver, cause my bone stock 2002 Sportsman 700 picks up the front end no problem. I'm not saying it puts the front end at 12 o'clock, but it'll pick it off the ground without having to jerk it back or stand on the back. granted its 40lbs lighter than the 850 XP, but its also 20 less HP.
Hey I give Polaris a pat on the back. It looks like they finally have built an ATV. Hopefully this machine does well because all their other machines kinda suck. I've got a Brute myself and I I love it. Nice thing about the Brute is its built to be tweaked and thats exactly what I am doing I just got my Muzzy exhaust today. This is just the beginning.
These tests don't really prove anything. I am glad Kawasaki lowered its' Bruce Force for better handling. My Brute Force has towed out more Polaris out of the bush than any other machine. This video was created because the Brute Force is such a threat the Polaris.

polaris engineering standards just are not up to par with Honda and yamaha! there electrical system is a total mess with very minimal water protection ad there "true all wheel drive" is a joke... It doesn't put you in control of the atv its like it is thinking for you and that may not always be a good thing!

Oscar's right, I have owned six different atv's in ten years. Polaris is far better than the others. Kawasaki does make a fine motor, but their suspension and especially their driveline is the weakest of all the atv's I have ever owned.

I hate Polaris marketing. It's FAKE! Brute Force has better engine breaking system and cooling is good too (lol not 3 minutes). It has much power and suspension works great. It's lighter than polaris. 4 wheel drive also is good. FAKE! And look at polaris its 850 and kawasaki is 750. Thats diffrence. Kawasaki is one of best ATV's and there is not any problems with it. Not only this shootout is FAKE. ALL SHOOTOUTS ARE FAKE. And dont believe them!

only time weight is a good thing is for pulling... for trail riding, mud, snow, sand, lighter is better. who want's awd? it's great if you're 60+ i owned 2 sportsman and the back wheel's would bury in snow due to the 1/5 slip ratio of awd... real 4X4 is way better if you know how to drive, and if they pull the diff lock on the kawi they wouldn't be stuck on that stupid roll ramp thing

polaris last way longer my friends have kawasakis ,and they've been in and out of the shop. I have a 99 polaris scrambler and its been through the same things as their four wheelers and its also oldre than theirs and i have only had to replace the battery ONCE.

yeh and the fact that they already had the polaris in 4wd when they rolled it up to the 4 wheel drive test, and the actor wasnt an idiot, they could've pulled in the diff lock in 2 seconds....then again i guess they are trying to make polaris sound better...but tbh, they're not (atleast not the newer 1s (year 2003 and up), i own 1 of each and i'd take the brute over the polaris anyday

Usually you have 4WD turned on before driving on tough terrain.
In fact, 4WD can be on always and wheel lock is automatic.

i live in Utah and there are a lot of atv's sold here.and a lot of places to ride them. i used to work at a place that just fixed atv-dirtbikes. so i am not just saying this i know this for a fact. all of the new atv's are good for most people. me i am really hard on them and have had the best luck with my grizzly. now i know that it is not the fastest. but that is ok.

My ass! I got an 08' Brute Force 750!!! I have smoked every polaris to come my way as far as speed... yes the polaris might be smoother but guess what, it will tip over in high speed corners way easier and it drives like a damn boat! They might have improved the cooling but ill tell ya my quad was caked with mud from a whole weekend of riding and a guy brought his brand new sportman out on a sunday evening and overheated following me on a trail, not a spec of dirt on the radiator! Not to mention the AWD crap from Polaris... Its all electronic shit equaling more things to break and cost you money! Obviously if you have the Brute Force, we all know as soon as you pull in that diff lock lever, the lock up is INSTANT! Also its way more reliable than that AWD crap! The engine braking test was BS too.. put that Brute Force in 4 wheel drive low range and it will go just as slow or slower... they had in in 2wd high so the damn thing didnt have much braking and made it skid

my friend just got one of these polaris 850 quads--i have a brute 750 -- my kawi dominated at all times against the polaris -- as for power -- the kawi easily pulls on the polaris on the flats and even more so on the big hills -- the polaris power is soft --and the suspention is so squishy that it's belly is always hitting bottom on rocks,and it cant loft the front tires up over cross ditches like a brute easily can

hmm, must be the driver, cause my bone stock 2002 Sportsman 700 picks up the front end no problem. I'm not saying it puts the front end at 12 o'clock, but it'll pick it off the ground without having to jerk it back or stand on the back. granted its 40lbs lighter than the 850 XP, but its also 20 less HP.

Hey I give Polaris a pat on the back. It looks like they finally have built an ATV. Hopefully this machine does well because all their other machines kinda suck. I've got a Brute myself and I I love it. Nice thing about the Brute is its built to be tweaked and thats exactly what I am doing I just got my Muzzy exhaust today. This is just the beginning.

These tests don't really prove anything. I am glad Kawasaki lowered its' Bruce Force for better handling. My Brute Force has towed out more Polaris out of the bush than any other machine. This video was created because the Brute Force is such a threat the Polaris.

polaris engineering standards just are not up to par with Honda and yamaha! there electrical system is a total mess with very minimal water protection ad there "true all wheel drive" is a joke... It doesn't put you in control of the atv its like it is thinking for you and that may not always be a good thing!

The only thing on a Polaris thats plastic that is metal on a brute or anyother atv are the fucking racks, which by the way hold more and are steel underneath... and the sportsmans (especially the standard ones) have alot more fucking steel in them than a jap quad with their lighter frames and plastic skids... and btw, what the fuck do you think ads up to that 780 pound weight in the fucking xp...

I dyno Brute Forces for a living. I have dyno'd them with BBK's and NOS at 110 + RWHP and they don't even overheat.
I have owned polaris sportsman's and at 1000 miles it fell apart. axles, brake lines, clutches, belts, a-arms cracked, and 4x4 didn't work
I work on Brute's with 6000 miles on them all stock with valve adjustment and oil changes.
polaris suspension is better but the atv just doesn't hold up
