This video...that was added over a year ago...was recorded on the spot, just after I watched the video that inspired this one. It was how I felt at the time, no editing or rehearsing, just my real, passionate view on an issue I've dealt with throughout my life! Im dark skin. I get attention for all types of men, but when I was a girl I was discriminated against a lot. When I was waitressing in college, I witness parents saying negatively how black their daughter was. I saw the little girl heart break in front of my eyes. I had to step in and tell her she was a beauiful dark girl.

I totally agree with you! I used to wear weaves all the time, and not because i didn't have hair as u can see, but like u said...it's just so much easier to get up and go! Especially in the summer time when it's hot and it's pointless to get a wash and set! lol! it's sweated out b4 u even leave tha salon! Guys always prefer light over dark most of the time. being lightskinned your just considered prettier to society. its easy to call a darkerskinned girl uglier than a lighter girl because the light girl has more things working for her. Think about it , how man darkskinned famous people are there out right now. THAT ARE doing well ? Damn vonnj007, i understand exactly where u coming from bout the family thing. i'm the youngest child & darkest. My mom is very lite-skin (her dad is french and mom is indian/black). My sister & her daughter are lite-skinned. Whenever i go somewhere w/them people look at me like i dont belong. its heart-breaking & its always been that way. People compliment each one of them then look @ me & just ignore i'm there. AND I KNOW I'M NOT UGLY... i think it's cuz i'm the only dark one in the family.

Im dark skin. I get attention for all types of men, but when I was a girl I was discriminated against a lot. When I was waitressing in college, I witness parents saying negatively how black their daughter was. I saw the little girl heart break in front of my eyes. I had to step in and tell her she was a beauiful dark girl.
