To whoever was talking about riding ASB and not posting in a western saddle, I though the same thing until I started riding (and soon showing) my own ASB gelding western. You have to post while riding, unless you want to sit there bouncing like crazy.

Well, you have to kick a mechanical bull on, so then the stupid operator guy makes it go faster, not eally much point if the horse doesn't turn and it's only trotting.

at the kentucky horse park, the simulators there work like real horses, you kick them, and they go faster, you pull the reins, and they go slower. i rode those ones :P

yeah, I think they changed it. I spent a couple bucks on the cantering one because I had to go back to my old days of Win Gait Stables, Lucky, Reba, Saddleseat, and the good 'ole American Saddlebreds.

I just weant to a ASB show a few weeks ago and man if they could make a perfect machine that rode like a ASB that would be great. Most people never get to find out how a show ASB feels to ride in all them gaits. I do not either.

Personally, I think the position of the neck and head on these riding simulators resemeble American Saddlebred Horse, not Morgans. We went there in October, and the canter simulator is better than the walk/trot simulator. They give you like five minutes for fifty cents, and it's kinda sad there is an Emergency Stop button on them.

Did they change the price? I remember it being $1 for a 3-minute ride. A typical horse kiddie ride on the other hand can cost anywhere from a penny but usually 25-50 cents for a 1-minute ride.
