When I was Doing combat/recon patrol my team used to cook in that kind of stove. smokeless. we cooked our food in the on the tin can of sardines.

Yes, that’s because I was saying “meths” which in Britain is the abbreviation for ‘methylated spirits’, which is what we call alcohol fuel.

@derserts I only used it once, to heat a tin of beans. Honestly I would not consider using it to cook in the ‘great outdoors’. It’s hard to extinguish and still half full of smelly fuel!

This is ok, but not the best. Instead make a pressurized jet burner (a little bit harder but works a thousand times better than this) and put the burner holes on the side. If they are on the side they will keep heating the fuel in the chamber. Also, the cotton is worthless.

@GegoXaren Great way to sharpen scissors is to cut aluminum cans with them, so yeah, I bet his wife loves him. ;)
