  • Praise the Lord for your AWESOME and SCIENTIFIC evidence of Creation....keep up the Great Work Ian.

  • another golden crocaduck champian.

  • Ian, you do such a great job of explaining things in such an understandable way.

  • If this guy would just phrase these ideas in the form of a question, he would be well on his way to understanding SO much! I think that is the first step. Just learn to form your ideas as a question. e.g. Idea as absolute: there are identical (similar) [sic] rock formations found around the world. This is proof of a global flood. Idea as a question: There are similar rock formations found around the world. Why is this? See the difference. So... go google that sh#t!

  • Is this guy for real ?

Surely nobody can be this ignorant.

I suppose he might be lying for some reason, but I cant figure out a good reason for anyone to do that.

If hes not joking with us, the amount of brain activity he is using to suppress facts and logic with, must be staggering.

Willfull ignorance on such a monumental scale, would constitute a tragegy of biblical proporsions.

Ohhh I know now,, He is a standup comedian,, right !, damn, he had me going there for a moment !

  • @dinomand my parents are like this, and I used to be like this. It is brainwashing, nothing more. I was taught that even LISTENING to the ideas of evolution was a sin. I intentionally disrupted my teacher twice - 7th grade Earth Science and 10th grade world history. I cried during class. I was a freak! Luckily my protestant work ethic drove me to eventually want to learn more about the world, and today I am a firm atheist. So, yeah. He really believes this is true. It is sad, but whatev

  • @eggplnt Hmmm I used to believe that evolution was true until I learned more about what science tells us and the observable, testable, and repeatable science supports what the Bible tell us. Calling out a teacher in front of the class is not a good method of doing it. They are more likely make a fool of the student in class.Talk to them after class and give them some information to look up. If they look up the info themselves they are more likely to make their own choice to change their minds.

  • @AndyG792 I don't believe in creationism, nor do I believe that it has any place in the schools... before, during, or after class. I made bad choices as a kid.. glad to have grown up and learned a little

  • where are all the human bones mixed in with dino bones, where is this "layer". The mythical layer of dead stuff. This is the shit they want to tteach in schools.......Gawd Help Us!!

  • I'm ashamed now to be called a Canadian.

  • So if the bible is true ( a global flood ) how did noah get all the animals of the ark, seriously, this is stupid.

  • @benaberry Check out these articldes on ... Creation dot com /article/6399

  • @AndyG792

Sorry but you need to read all the scientific evidence, this guy sounds like he is making sence but it is absolute rubbish. That is not my opinion, this guy has not produced 1 peer reviewed paper. Evolution doesnt require you to believe it it, it is fact non the less.

  • @benaberry To begin with, even if he were a degreed scientist, if he doesn't believe in evolution he would not be able to publish in the normal scientific literature on the grounds that anyone that doesn't believe in evolution isn't qualified, even who are scientists. So, the system is rigged from the get-go. Evolution requires much faith as it has hot been proven. It's not even a theory as it barely makes it into the category of an hypothesis. Tell me how you know that it is a fact.

  • @benaberry Also, you say that it is not your opinion. Of course it's your opinion. Your the one stating it.

  • @AndyG792

no, im stating fact, fact has nothing to do with opinion. I am not expessing my personal view, this guy is! He has no evidence only his opinion.

  • Ahh dirt people, is it really science I ask you.

  • OK I vote this guy a complete idiot

  • As a geologist, this man makes me cry.

  • @micometer post why!...people need to know

  • @infinightsky Heh, aside from the fact that he's talking out of complete and utter ignorance? I could make a pwnage video of this man but Claire already did a proper job of it.

  • @micometer I can see by looking at your profile that you must have TONS of experience in the field since you're 23. Not saying you're not a geologist (IIRC, it takes 4 years minimum of schooling to become one?), but why not get a little bit of time working as one under your belt before making such a statement?

  • This is truly, absolutley, stupidity.

  • "In the topography of intellection, I should say that what we call knowledge is ignorance surrounded by laughter." charles forte the book of the damned p 19.

  • Ian, keep up the good work! Excellent!

  • @apathy7170 Amen!

  • Has anyone found ANY scientific credentials for this so called "expert"? Also please research his "findings" for yourself. Genuine science is very clear in how ALL this is explained by various straightforward logical methodologies.

  • @NEGATIONofP

I think you should focus on arguing against what he is presenting. He may or may not have those fancy degrees and certificates, but his arguments do make sense.

  • @gneisenau321 3 reasons I expose frauds 1 if credentials mean nothing why do frauds like him use them? 2nd is I attack the character/ethics of the speaker. This is far more important to MOST people watching this crap because they have no desire to find the truth only something that supports their preconceived beliefs. 3rd it is insulting to us people who have actually earned the titles. If you truly want to debate his evidence I will happily respond to ANY of his "findings" you find creditable.

  • @NEGATIONofP 1. No one said that credentials mean nothing. but if a person with credentials hasn't learned to think on his own and spew out only what he was taught, it may not be serving him well. 2.Ad hominum attacks seem to be the only tactic attackers of creationist have as they can't stand on facts. 3. it is insulting to you people of said earned titles because you do not have much faith in your education, otherwise it would not bother you in the least since you know you are r

  • @gneisenau321 Juby (as usual) bounces all over the place making assertions with little to no supporting evidence out side biblical scripture. Please outline the most credible evidence he has provided you by topic and/or time index. Not trying to be difficult its just impossible to cover such a wide array if “information”. Thanks, I look forward to your reply.

  • @NEGATIONofP

"Please outline the most credible evidence he has provided you by topic and/or time index."?

Ok sure, no problem. :) See CrEvo rant #110. Where he points out that Natural Selection can't create new information.

  • @gneisenau321 This viewpoint demonstrates a basic misunderstanding of the process of evolution by natural selection. Not surprising that Juby would make this laughable assertion. I am a trained physicist not a biologist so I will defer to someone with a much better understanding of the issue. The best clarification for this error is given in the posting “8th Foundational Falsehood of Creationism” by AronRa (real professor :))@ time index of 04:35 let me know what you think. Thanks

  • @gneisenau321 Now over a week has passed since I responded to your challenge. Not surprisingly you have become silent after I provided you with evidence that illustrated Juby's "misunderstanding" of science. Instead of accepting that you were in error you choose to exhibit the same lack of integrity and cowards that most people of faith reveal when presented with such facts. I truly hope you someday find the courage and integrity to honestly investigate your existence. Find truth not Truth.

  • @NEGATIONofP

    1) I did respond. See CreVo rant #110. That is a very credible refutation of Evolution.

    2) You haven't provided me anything to illustrate Juby's supposed "misunderstanding" of "science" either.

    3) I wasn't in error, but you were and still are.

    4) You haven't presented me anything outside the usual anti-theist nagging.

    5) I have finished my investigation and I conclude that IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED. I DARE you to present me with what you think are facts to support Evolution.

  • @gneisenau321 1 of 2

    Points-1,2&4 :

Did you view the posting by AronRa debunking CreVo rant #110 that I provided? If so I would love to hear your rebuttal of the facts he presented

    Point 3

You have the mindset that scientists somehow 'believe' in evolution. Real science never believes ANYTHING. That is your ERROR

    Point 5:

You've obviously made up your mind already & wish to ignore ALL the evidence. However I will provide a list of source material if you truly want to find the truth. Cont.

  • @gneisenau321 After further thought I wish to address point 5 in more detail. Your statement referring to genesis brings up a few questions in my mind. I assume your god is all powerful so why did it take 6 days to create the universe? Why did he need rest? Did he not know it would be good before he created it? If so why say "he saw it was good" Multiple times? Do you not fine it suspicious that it only take 1 page of the bible to cast doubt on your god?

  • @gneisenau321 OOPS I just realized I forgot to address your “DARE”. If I am forced to pick only one set of data out of the thousands that the evolutionary sciences have produced thus far. I will pick the vast amount of evidence produced by the study of "retroviral insertions in phylogenetics". This is a somewhat advanced field of study however I believe anyone who honestly looks at the data will be hard pressed to discount evolution as a legitimate theory. DOUBLE DARE you to falsify it. LOL : )

  • @NEGATIONofP

"retroviral insertions in phylogenetics"? Sounds interesting. I'll check it out first. Be right back.

  • @gneisenau321 Great!!! Thanks for being opened minded it's refreshing. I realize the difficulty in interpreting scientific publications for the average person but with diligence comes understanding and it even may become fun. With that in mind I direct you to one of the best You-Tube posting designed for the non-scientificaly trained individual while still addressing this field of study (admittedly briefly) the title is "This is Why Every Scientist Accepts Evolution" by Don Exodus. GOOD Hunting.

  • "It is now believed the Tapeats was an underwater mud flow, moving at 90 miles an hour!"

    Really?

Nope. It is not believed that the Tapeats, which contains ripples caused by waves, trilobyte TRACKS, worm tracks, etc, was an underwater mudflow.

You can stop the video right there.

You've got to watch these YECs.

    They lie.

  • Its funny how scientist call us crazy but no one can call them crazy.. An article was published on the canyons of MARS and how they got there. the answer a GREAT FLOOD.. but yet i ask myself there is no WATER there but where on earth there is an abundance and yet they cannot believe a great flood could have occured.

  • @MIT2004 yes, The Atheists made a big mistake launch that campaigne against the flood. Mt st Helen was the beginng of the end of superposition, and outdated ideas of geology.

  • Mate, you talk about how scientists say the chalk is where the Cretaceous seas were. Nothing about a local flood or sinking land as you claim. They were seas. Sea level was higher. Big deal.

  • Beyond stupidity. This is breathtaking.

  • "Queenston University in Kingston, Ontario"

There is no such place. This man is talking out of his ass.

  • @hairyreasoner He merely mispoke. There is a Queens University in Kingston Ontario. Kingston/Queenston. I can see where a mistake can be made. Now who's talking out their ass?

  • @furbiefan Pretty lame, sir. Let's say he mispoke--OK. And what, the presenter mistyped? The graphic says "Queenston" and there is no such place. Is this, um, "Peer Review" at work? Or maybe a bit of hook, line and sinker.

Oh, and by the way, if someone brings me a truckload of "Tapetas Sandstone" from Newfoundland, I'll eat it.

It would be hard to imagine someone honestly believing this garbage.

  • @hairyreasoner

"The graphic says "Queenston" and there is no such place."?

Its called a typo Einstein. He meant Kingston.

"It would be hard to imagine someone honestly believing this garbage."?

It would be hard to imagine someone who is so naive to limit his understanding of this world by listening solely to the comments of anti-theist bigots. "Scientists" who you look up to aren't always right and history has shown it.

  • @gneisenau321 He did a typo by speaking? Um, yes he did. It's a big typo.

Yes, scientists have been wrong in the past. Of course. That's why science updates itself.

Can you point to a similar protocol for ancient, religious scribblings?

  • Comment removed

  • @hairyreasoner

    1) The Bible is not just mere "scribbling" but the writings of many good God-loving people who were willing to die for our LORD.

    2) There is no need to update the Bible other than translating it to different languages.

    3) The best way to update your so called "science" would be to ditch the big bang theory, theory of evolution, the "old earth" idea and anti-theism completely. And looking at what "science" is taught in schools today, I'd say you guys got a lot of work to do.

  • @gneisenau321 1) Yes, quite willing to die for their "Lord" and also quite willing kill for Him too.

    2) No need to update the Bible? So, you do believe in buying and selling women? Not to mention killing them for trifling acts? And slavery? No need to change the Bible's guidance on that, right?

    3) There are no kinds of "Science" there is just science. And yes, ideas will change as discoveries mount. That's science, and progress.

  • @hairyreasoner

    1) " ... also quite willing kill for Him too."?

You are one to talk. I bet you are willing to kill for a religion-free world too. Admit it, you atheists are no different, maybe even worse.

    2) "So, you do believe in buying and selling women... killing them... slavery?"?

NO, because it ISN'T taught in Scripture. If it is, prove me wrong.

    3) Science is subjective. Atheists policing their opinions is no different than religious people policing their faith don't you think?

  • @gneisenau321 Then again, it would be awesome to hear what your issue with evolutionary theory is. Do tell.

  • Lyell said "A local flood can produce layers around the world" ?????

That is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

The dishonesty of these guys never ceases to amaze me.

  • @hairyreasoner His following comment was "Nonsense !!!". As in it wasn't true.

  • lying for jesus is lying.

  • Great Videos keep spreading the Truth too many are being brainwashed by (erol) evolution religion of lies in school. Anyone interested in the Truth read The Bible.

  • Almost none of his arguments make sense or are logical. Holes in his theorie everywhere.

  • @Holdington You only see aproblem with him speaking the Truth is if you think he is wrong because you have evolution preconcieved notions

  • No, I listen to both sides of the debate, and to me his arguments don't have enough substance. That's what I think anyway. If you choose to believe him, fine. I don't.

  • @Holdington Ok thats good that you watch the videos with an open mind. I will send you a couple if you get time please watch them. They are on the dating techniques.

  • @coolvideo28 I don't want any videos on dating techniques. If you have more creationist videos I'd like to see them though.

  • @Holdington Check out my favorited videos there are tones of them some of them have series of videos but I only put the first one on my Channel in my favorites. Any questions feel free to ask

  • The Faux and Padian article does not say what you pretend it does. All it says is that the animal assumes the posture during death, not after. It can be caused by "asphyxiation, lack of nourishment or essential nutrients, environmental toxins, or viral infections, among other causes," to quote the article. It isn't evidence of rapid burial whatsoever. You are a con.

  • "That sandstone is supposed to be 100s and 100s of millions of years old. There should be no animals that have evolved with bones by that point." Vertebrates appear in the fossil record 500 million years ago. Land-dwelling tetrapods appear 350 million years ago. Get some real science education before you try to disprove well-established scientific theories with supposed footprints that your buddy found. Creationists, Juby is lying to you.

  • He didn't tell us how the Super Group was laid down, block faulted and eroded level before the Grand Canyon layer were put on top.

The flood layed down the Tepeats, where did the other layers come from. another 5000 feet above of rock.

  • The intellectual level of Dr. Juby compared with some of the ramblings on this site is appalling. Here's an educated teacher, lecturer, backed by sound, scientific logic, being assailed by halfwit, uneducated morons. Absolutely amazing.

Thank you, Ian Juby, for having the testicular fortitude to make yourself a target of intellectual lightweights.

  • I met ian 2 weeks ago and he is definitly alot smarter then most evolutionists I know.

  • @qwuad61 From the ignorance of language skills your short post reveals, I've discerned you are an unreliable judge of anyone's relative intelligence. Apparently, you believe this ridiculous person, thus supporting the contention I've posited in my first sentence.

  • Hey, do you have any of that cross-bedding footage isolated on another video anywhere?

I think I'd like to make a 5-6 minute, hands-on video showing that process.

    What do you think?

  • Just watch Noahs flood debunked.

  • The fossil pictures of deformed necks of animals you show here, are they also on your page? I would like to see that in bigger resolution if possible. Thanks for giving out your knowledge, Ian.

  • Ian,

your polisdisplay.html page on your webpage does not show pictures ... why? I'm intrigued to see em all!

  • @LVskywalker Chalk is a soft, white, porous sedimentary rock, a form of limestone composed of the mineral calcite.

  • Is it true Muslims don't believe in the flood?

  • Please do you mind posting your academic credentials?

    Did you attend Queenston University?

  • Good job!

  • Marvelous Job. Keep the truth coming and it will eventually prevail. I am reminded of a 2005 dig on the Paluxy River where we found a 14 inch human footprint, only two feet from a dinosaur footprint, on the same layer of limestone. Check the video. A German film crew was there and filmed the discovery and excavation.

  • I would seriously love to see that. Where's the video at?

  • Ian, your analysis of the footprints, the crossbeding, and the death pose is excellent. Having personally observed the deaths of thousands of hapless fish I was immediatly struck by the compelling nature of these fossils for rapid burial. I've also observed the formation of layers and crossbeds as you discussed and your analysis is exactly right.

  • Let's take this silly claim of your semi-seriously for a second. You say that Tapeats is the product of a mudflow, traveling at 90 mph! I did recognize that this came from Chadwick, who never published the claim in a peer review journal.

If Tapeats was being laid down in a fast moving mudflow, how did these supposed footprints get preserved? There seems to be a contradiction here.

I love YECers sometimes! You are so silly!

  • If you had taken notes and listened to what I said from the beginning, I said that layers were made in sequences; tidal waves in effect.

The tracks would've have been made during the low tide when there was little or no water on top.

  • But that is not what Chadwick claimed. His paper suggested that Tapeats was deep underwater when laid down.

Still it is a neat trick. Here is a large lahar, which you claim to be moving over a very larger area (over much of the North American Continent), but conditions calmed down enough for survivors of the intial lahar to come out and take a Sunday walk.

This is why you are not respected. I liked the bedtime story. Funny. Very funny!

  • Good grief man! Retake your geology course, and re-watch the video! I was not talking about the Tonto group, I was talking about the Supergroup!

And as for the footprint, it is in the Tapeats sandstone, it is on Tonto point, right on the Bright Angel Trail, and any joe-blow reading this can go down there to see them!

Oh ya, I'm just so discredited....

  • And this is the best you can do? If anyone who needs to retake geology, it is you!

The supergroup is the angular uncomrfomity located below Tapeats, the product of erosion of the mountain range that once stood in the area (Vishnu).

Finally, you are a liar! Those footprints are near Hermit Falls on the south side of the Grand Canyon! I have seen them! They are nowhere near Tapeats!

My advice is to read Grand Canyon Geology edited by Stanley Beaus. You need to bone up on this!

  • Where in the video (time please) did I say that the Tapeats or Bright Angel were part of the supergroup? Rewatch the video.

secondly, I'm so glad you noticed the remarkable similarity between the footprints near Hermit Falls and the ones in the Tapeats. I will reply with a video, not for your sake, but for the sake of those are reading your false accusations, so they can see where the tracks are themselves.

  • False? I have hiked the Bright Angel Trail many times and as recently as 2005. I know the area where you claim the "footprints" are to be found. If they are there, I have not seen them.

I believe this is more like Austin's little flight of fantasy involving "billions" of natauloids fossils in the Redwall Limestone Formation.

  • The tracks were first discovered 20 years ago, I'll show you (and the world) exactly where they are. If you hiked the Bright Angel trail, then your probably walked right on top of them.

You didn't tell me where in my video I said the Tapeats and Bright Angel were part of the supergroup. This was another false accusation you hurled at me. I am well aware that the Tapeats and Bright Angel are not part of the supergroup. So once again, you have falsely accused me.

  • You started your video with a talk on the Grand Canyon Supergroup. Nothing false here, except your failure to place Tapeats into the Tonto Supergroup.

As for these alleged footprints, if they were truly there, the NPS would make the public aware of them. Unless, you are somehow suggesting a "conspracy" is at play here.

What you have not addressed, how can you get reptile prints in a high speed mudflow, deep underwater. Your last explanation was a joke!

  • I did not place the Tapeats in the supergroup. I asked you to show me where in the video I made that claim, and you didn't show me where. Why? Because I didn't make that claim. That is a false accusation.

I also did not say they were reptile tracks, nor have I heard YOUR explanation for how those tracks were formed and preserved. I'm sure your explanation would be more of a joke. Mine is logical, and stacks up to the evidence.

  • If I misheard you, then I apologize (but is sure sounded like you did make that claim).

    Now for these alleged tracks.

They're fakes. The reason why the geologic community have not heard of this claim before, or for that matter NPS has not documented this claim is because they do not exist! It wouldn't be the first time YECer manufactured fake footprints (does Paluxy ring a bell?). And you are showing evidence that it is not the last time.

  • There are several sites in the GC where fossil footprints were found, well documented and well known. They include fossil reptiles near Hermit's Rest and scorpian footprints found in the Coccocino Sandstone (and it was a desert!). But, there had never been a documented case of footprints in Tapeats.

And base on the conditions you claimed to have existed at the time Tapeats was deposited, it would be impossible any creature to leave footprints. Your claim is illogical and false!

  • Please see the video "Tip toe through the Tapeats". As for your claim of manufacturing, the Paluxy happens to be one of my areas of expertise, and unless you can explain how they got "manufactured" underneath 18 inches of undisturbed limestone...

As for the Tapeats tracks - see for yourself; how do you manufacture displaced mud? People have been visiting these tracks for about 20 years. They are not manufactured.

  • Yes, we know who you hang out with. Carl Baugh's standard of fakery was so great that it even disturbed John Morris of ICR to back away from the claims he was making about Paluxy.

As for Tapeats, you are going to need to do better then make a generalized assertion. If this site has been "visited" over the past 20 years, then documentation must exist. Care to cite it. Quite frankly, your credibility quotent is at zero. The burden is you to prove it.

  • suppression of the truth dosen't always require a conspiracy.

  • "suppression of the truth dosen't always require a conspiracy"

Sorry dude, but the X-Files was cancelled a while ago.

  • And did you attend college at all? I did a google search on you and though I found several websites (including the ones you host) and not a single one discusses your educational background.

So how do you feel qualified to comment on anything?

I think we have discovered why you are incapable of even recognizing the formations in the Grand Canyon correctly!

  • more jack-assary here law200 ???

a child throwing sand at recess.

You may know a few things about geology, but u r a lousy freaking human.

Is it right for a Christian to call out a jack-ass? I think so. You're a jack ass bully who wonders around thinking they have the world all figured out. You have the people skills of a rattle snake.

Why dont you just spend your time making your own videos for your 15 subscribers instead of wasting your time being a jack ass troll ?

    PATHETIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • As you told you yesterday, I prefer to think of myself as a pain in the ass. And I am only a "troll' when I haven't had my morning cup of coffee yet.

As for your second question, it is not quantity but quality that counts. Now that Mount St Helens have stopped erupting, I am in the process of making additional videos on the other Cascade volcanoes. I expect to have a video posted on Lassen Peak in the next few weeks (I do work for a living so it does take time). Thank you for your concern.

  • Now you are being completely dishonest. I recognize that photograph of "footprints in Teapets Sandstone." That's not in Tapeats, but instead the Hermits Formation! Your creditability is now completely blown!

The correct term you are referring to as the "Grand Canyon Supergroup" is Tonto Group, which is composed of Tapeats, Mauv and Bright Angel Group. The Supergroup is below Tapeats and above Visnhu. Get your formations straight!
