Does anyone around here know what horn is on the 4723 Dash 9 and the SD40-2 units on MSTS?

@lawpar79 the dash 9 has a K3L , but the highest note on it doesn't work any more

but listen to it at 0:13 and then again at about 0:27. you'll hear the 3rd RS3L note kick in.

sounds exactly like a RS3K but not the best one

eh, whatever model, its a leslie i know that much.
and its ex BN and they used the RS3K might sound a little weird depending how the engineer is blowing it
@TPWRAILFAN The engineer can control how much air is being fed into the horn and therefore change the pitch. This process is known as "quilling" or "feathering".

The Nathan M3 airhorns also act in a very similar manner.

sounds like one of the bells is only working intermittently, making it sound somewhat like an S3K.
