  • There's were George learned to play the sitara.... FOREVER BEATLE!!!

  • @MexicanTVOfficial actually he learnt before he went there. it's on rubber soul, which came 3 years before they went there.

  • I always love seeing the Beatles India films :-)

  • Really nice video thanks!

  • I love seeing pics of them in India. They look so chill =]

  • amazing song. this was recorded after they went to india so the "this should have been on the white album" comments are becoming tedious. I still cant get over how amazing this song is

  • @Reginator3311 lol ..yeah but not everyone has that attention to detail, obsession for the Beatles like we do.

    ;)

  • does anyone know where i can get this version?

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

  • Porra que lindo!

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Never heard this song until Stevie Riks did a cover of it. I love it. Everyone check out MrSTEVIERIKS. I promise you will not be dissapointed.

  • @michellesupport89 Totally brilliant especially "Making tea with Paul McCartney" and Lennon making a Pot Noodle.

Abd second they are dirt shit indians who need to be fucken drowned or maybe make them drink there own blood 3rd fuck all of them because they had ten people to fix a stupid fucken net yet kill a beautiful turtle thats why i hate indians!!!

  • @maridany98 i m indian and i m proud of our diverse culture, the way u gave comment is stupid and shows

u dont have respect for others, look how beautiful those ladies in video look in indian sarees (just to give an example)

u should think before u comment "stupid"

  • hahaha cool! I Have never heard this lovly song before, This make my day better!! I miss John lennon and George Harrison

  • I am in India now, travelling around the all country... as Beatles fan , I almost cried when I saw this.. because everything you would do in your life, beatles had already written a song for it.. and writing it, they though to you too, who would listen it maybe 50 years later...

  • Does anyone find this song similar to Mr.Moonlight? :s

  • @po0n3d I hear Hey Jude

  • @1967mustanggta 0:22

I'm searching for an answer, but somewhere deep inside.

Substitute that for: And now she is mine, I think you're fine.

    coincidence? ;)

  • @po0n3d NOO its very diffrents of sound & Melody sorry dude, you have smoke to much :)

  • @rareu4532 Thats the full song.

The hook at 0:22 is taken off of Mr.Moonlight, but thats it :P

  • I love the bootlegs.... i want them all, lol, i got a lot of unofficial material, but i always find new material

  • This really makes you wonder how many awesome songs John wrote but never used or got the chance to use...

Btw, thanks SO much for the upload this is amazing

  • @crazykatie49

    Lennon's Vocals are Amazing,

    His Songwriting is impeccable

But I would Love if people show more respect to him as a Great Rock Vocalist

  • this is coooooollll :DDDD haha gotta lovee the BEATLES! <3

  • "I'm waiting, by the river.."

That melody reminds me of Mr. Moonlight.

  • india india - i love my country

  • India FTW

  • Ringo hated being in India from what I've read, it was because of his many eating disorders..

  • This later became 'Mean Mr. Mustard', just played faster with a different vocal melody and lyrics :p You can hear it if you listern closely ;)

  • Great footage my friend ! Thanks for posting this treasure... John sounds like Mr. moonlight for a while... John was unique on this field... ♪

Always loving John's moods! What a great person♪

    Peace

  • @iamaphuney yes I do...the one with her two front teeth popping out like a gopher lol

  • ugh pattie boyd is not attractive at all.

  • You want to hear John Lennon reincarnated? Cole Kitz, born in NYC on December 9th 1980, 12:06am. If you can find any of his over 99 known-published-recorded songs, count yourself lucky. Since he seeks no fame (exactly what john would do after the bullshit and selling out he had to do) and no recognition. If you don't believe in reincarnation, I hear that-- we still got Mr. Beiber to soundtrack our lives and innermost thoughts/feelings/desires....

  • Dude. This rules.

  • At 0:48, the guy standing between Lennon and the Indian turban guy looks like a young George W. Bush!

  • Comment removed

  • I think this is John's India, India (Not sure if he wrote it with the Beatles) But it's on the Home Tapes album of his new boxset.

  • is it just me, or do I hear a hint of "Mr Moonlight" in this?? Love this song, though!

  • thanks!

  • This is better than many of the songs on the White album. Why was it omitted??

  • Wish this had made it onto the White Album!

  • They have this song on a disc on the John Lennon Signature Boxset.

  • "I left my heart in England / with the girl I left behind" = Yoko Ono.

  • very nice, thanks. It's too bad the ashram is in disrepair

    Jai Guru Dev

  • this sounds like a lennon recording a la. 1980. chorus vocals/guitar. and his voice also sounds like it.

  • i never heard this song, its soo cool! thanks a lot for putting this video man

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

  • wow i wonder where did u get this from....i have a couple of 1968's beatles bootlegs like de esher tapes but this one is the first time i heard. its a rare song

  • @ ienjoyhippies its just you man peace.

  • john wolverine lmao 1:48

  • I hear this, and John's voice just gets to me! Makes me wanna cry, it's so beautiful a song!

  • I love it.... Tnx you for posting this 8-) LM

  • the beatles were really happy in india... it was almost like their promised land i guess... and john sings it with such beauty <3 :D thanks alot for the video!!

  • I can´t bealive 5 people vote "don´t like it"

thanks for the video. never heard THAT song before.

  • john did not have bad songs

  • 00:23 The first of pauls beards EPIC!

  • Thanks sooooooooo much :) I'm loving this <3 !

  • OMG! Thank you so much! ♥ "I'm searching for an answer but somewhere deep inside I know I'll never find it here...it's already in my mind."

  • to me the Beatles were the most creative in 1967 and in 1968 while they were in India. In India they were either real board, real inspired and/or had a lot of time on their hands to write more than 30 new songs between all four of them. George wrote more than four contained on the White album, there was also the "Inner Light", "Not Guilty" and "Circles".

  • thanks for posting!

  • Ah Ringo,my man ,enjoying a cigarette.I'll wager that upon arrival in London his first stop was a favorite chippie.

  • Comment removed

  • Lennon maybe have been acidic but he was also damn honest, I guess all the Beatles were, that's why people liked and admired them.

  • its not super rare if its on youtube... nice song though

  • 1:46 Logan from X-Men????

  • this was written about yoko when john was in india with cynthia

  • super interesting and very good editing!.. Cheers

  • Never heard this before thanks, god i thought i new all the beatles songs

  • @cannockchase me to me to.

  • たいへん平和な時代でしたね~ カラーで観るとホント古さを感じない!

    ところで、このハワイアン風のジョンの曲はなんというタイトルですか?

  • thanks for the video, I'v never heard this song before O:, it sounds really good

  • the pic at 2:36 of george is hot!!!

  • Not to sound like another Yoko basher, but C'mon, after the amazing success of the Beatles Anthology, she looked at that as a "here's my chance" moment. She released all she had on John with the Lennon Anthology... this is a Beatles' outtake, its been floating around on alternative White Albums for years and years...There's no "New" John Lennon...

  • Donovan dressed in mellow yellow at 2.27 . . .

  • that was great :D

  • Cool, thanks for putting this up :)

  • this has a big of a hey jude vibe[second part],does anyone notice it? did this influence hey jude or the other way around? is that possable do you think?

  • @heartsoul788 Yes I heard that as well!! ......don't know what words John was singing during the very similiar part but it's the part in Hey Jude where Paul sings.."remember,.... to let her into your heart".....yes wonder what tune DID come first? This occurs I think about 3 times in this tune "India"

  • 02:37 no matter where they are~ they make music

  • patty and jane are so gorgeous

  • ♥♥♥ Happy Birthday, John !!! ♥♥♥

  • WOW! Aum mani padme hum, John. I love you.

  • viagem !!!!

  • Beatles are life. Lennon is love. :)

  • @LENNON12311 well said. God bless

  • Alguien ha dicho ya lo de "Hey Jude"?

  • Oh my gosh, I've never even heard of this before! Thanks!

  • @SgtPlmFry Your welcome ! Glad you liked it =)

  • Paul played this live once on his Space Within US tour

  • @QueenBeatlesWings REALLY ??!! I wish I could see that video ( if there is one available :D:D)

  • @QueenBeatlesWings DO YOU HAVE THAT SONG?

  • @QueenBeatlesWings I HAVE IT NOW, CHEERS!

  • @QueenBeatlesWings I don't know that he did. He did play a song once called India but it was a different song. You can find video of it on here.

  • @QueenBeatlesWings

Oh, please young YouTuber. You have to know that Paul NEVER played this song. He has an entirely different song called 'India'. Welcome to the internet.

  • The guy at 1:17 looks like the Geico Caveman, lol

  • I just wonder if Paul or Ringo are Christians? I don't believe John nor George were...anyway, just wondering.

  • @cootercat486 I was thinking about that too, earlier ! Yes, George is Hindu and Buddhist. Well, I'm not quite sure what John is but I think he is partly Buddhist too because Yoko surely is a Buddhist.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace I believe that John wasn't that much into any type of religion....Once read that Paul attends The Anglican church of England...Yes, I do believe that George was a Hindu.....Ringo not sure of....Maybe someone else might know? Glad Someone else wonders these things too.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace mmmm., i think you're right. Yes, George was Hindu and later he become interested in Buddhism as well. Ringo, a Christian ? ( Magic Christian looolll idk) Yeah, probably Paul is a Christian too. Hve you ever wonder what religion John was when he was younger ?

  • @1234crackerboxpalace

I don't see how you can say George was Buddhist.

Also, John never really gravitated to one religion or other so why say he was Buddhist? An interesting note: listen to the words in his soneg "Grow Old With Me".

  • @paranormal33 George mainly became a Hindu, obviously because of his strong interest in India. However, he also has a strong believe in Buddhism as well since both Hinduism and Buddhism shared approximately about 87% same concepts and both believe in Buddha and God. George himself did stated that he actually believes in both Hinduism and Buddhism's idea of living the world at the beginning of his Brainwashed promo documentary as well.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace The concept of a deity is not really a part of Buddhism. A Buddhist can believe in a god or not, it doesnt really matter in Buddhism.

  • @ruderevival you got the point :D Thanks for clearing it out.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace no problem man. Peace and love.

  • @paranormal33 Mmm, I never said that John was a Buddhist, obviously not as we all know he doesn't believe in religion but I think he does interested Buddhism as a subject though but not as a religion.

  • @1234crackerboxpalace Lennon was NOT atheist he didnt beleive in ORGANIZED religion= there's a difference. He was right because back then many religious leaders were corrupt and he could think what he wanted on his own. even in "Imagine" he meant no discriminating between religions not no religion at all

  • @QueenBeatlesWings in general that's probably true but john specifically says in imagine: "no religion too"

  • The Beatles, probably the best band of all time. They took drugs. That alone should be enough to tell us that drugs arent all that bad.

  • 1:45 woah! John! <3

  • com tantas garotas bonitas assim em volta... UHUUUL! isso que meditar xP

  • Jane Asher was a pretty girl...

  • @cornball918 my opinion she was gorgeous i wish i had hair that natural red color

  • Yaaaaaaay, Maharishi theif

  • it is beautiful, thanks a lot. there is another clip in german language here, it is called Die Beatles in India, which reports about their stay in Maharishis Ashram as well.

  • @kishoriray thank you :D wow...really ? do you have a link ? i would love to see them :D

  • @1234crackerboxpalace check ur mail box.

  • @kishoriray thank you :D I'll check it out now

  • Very nice get to know this demo! Maybe Yoko, Paul and Ringo decide to finnish it and put in an albun that will celebrate John's 70th birthday. We all still miss him a lot!

  • lsd fucked him up. cynthia was the one for him

  • Thank you for this interesting piece of Beatles history, especially the pictures.

  • @EternalTimelessTruth Thank you :D Glad you liked it !

  • Nice video and lovely pictures, thank you for posting this!

  • He could never have written this while in India. When John was in India, he was a believer. He never could have written the line "I left my heart in England." It was only after he left that he became disillusioned with the Maharishi and realized he didn't have to travel to India to find "the answer".

  • too bad john never recorded it probably would have blown pauls stolen hey jude to pieces, paul is an agant

  • I love this! Such good photos :D Thanks for uploading!

Can I ask, where did you find them? They are awesome

  • @PrismsofLight Thank you for your comment :D I got the photos from a book called The Beatles in India by Paul Saltzman :D

  • amazing pics, i really ejoyed watching the video...Thanks!!!!

  • @nanipotter Thank you :D Glad you enjoyed them

  • Interesting. Has almost exactly the same melody as 'Hey Jude'.

I reckon I could have written great songs if I'd been in the Beatles and could just have nicked them off of John Lennon.

  • Thank you all those who took these rare shots, and to you Mr. 1234crackerboxpalace who posted this to our hearts' content. The music is good! My regards to all who trace The Beatles even into their private lives! Am one with you!

  • @spidahMONKEY Listen to song and write down on a paper?

  • loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you JOHN u are my idol

    with love from INDIA

    RIP

    LENNON

  • AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL......................

  • Great photos.Interesting how shortly after this, they all left their wives and girlfriends. Jane Asher and Pattie Boyd might've been "pretty",but so what? George and Paul were never faithful to them, so there was a void. During this time, Yoko was sending John postcards. I think the Beatles wanted more than to just be with pretty girls who make good publicity for them. I adore Olivia and Linda.

  • ahh awesome song one of my fav ....LENNON was amazing

  • What a nice song!

  • just like to say thank u for shareing song and photos 8)

  • i thought that george harrison would write such a song

  • What are you two talking about?

Paul is left handed, and holding the guitar in the left handed way.

John and George are right handed, and hold the guitar that way.

  • Oooooooooooooooohhhh!

  • 1:04....souds like,hey jude......???

  • if it's on youtube then it's not "super rare".

  • we must revolt before its too late

  • 0.54...i wonder....if paul is left handed, why is he holding the guitar like he is right handed??

  • @1995Sian Yep, Paul and Ringo are the two Beatles who's left handed

  • @1234crackerboxpalace That's not what he asked.

  • @MacWillyFortunes oh, loolll im sorry, my bad

  • @1234crackerboxpalace ... Paul's holding the guitar as a left-handed person would, with his left hand strumming. However, I HAVE seen photos of Paul holding a guitar the way a right-handed person would.

  • @1995Sian that is the way a left handed plays.
