  • reminds me of Emperor Palpatine

  • Wow the spooky lighting is cool, makes you look like an evil jedi :D

I haven't seen either version of this movie, I got the remake in my box set though I believe. I think you'll enjoy his other movies alot more especially psycho and the birds.

  • Glad someone finally picked up on the lighting! I definitely look forward to seeing the remake once I get that boxset, it will be interesting to compare the too. Plus I watched the trailer on youtube and it looks awesome.

  • I haven't seen either version but the 50's version has Jimmy Steward and Dorris Day! so I'm sure its better...plus if Hitch felt the need to remake his own work you know he probably wasn't at his best. I will definitely watch this one before I watch the remake though.

I find a lot of Hitch's editing is choppy probably up until his 60s film. I like it, old skool!

    Great review!

  • Chopping editing really bugs me, I don't mind jump cuts but when a scene doesn't flow I just can't get into it.

  • That was probably the best review I've ever watched in my ENTIRE LIFE!!!

  • Great review!

  • they fixed all the bad things in the re make

  • Sounds good, definitely look forward to watching it.

  • Thanks for that review I just checked a Hitchcock set I got here and found the movie so I will check it out.
