OMG!!!! i am so sorry. That really sucks that that happened to you. What kind of computer do you have and operating system? Something had happened to my computer and it made everything crazy....i just kinda reloaded my computer from a point before it got messed up. I have an Acer lapotop running Windows Vista.

Sorry to hear about what happened to your computer. Maybe you should try Best Buy Geek Squad to see if they can recover the data for you. I know it costs but it would be worth those pics and videos. Or you could make your exfriend see if they could get a Best Buy card to pay for it. They have 0% interest for 3, 6, or 18 months on purchases. That way you get your data and they have time to pay off the cost of it without owing interest. BTW - no I don't work for BB I just have a card : )

So sorry I know how it feels. A couple years ago my husband deleted a vid of my then two year old singing me twinkle twinke little star and even now he still has to check his food. (smile) Check into some hardware recovery software or take it into a pc repair shop. I used to be a systems analyst, there are ways to salvage your data. OMG, i am so sorry about your computer. this wont probably help but i know how it feels. I lost everything in august. Computer was hit by thunder, and just died, with everything on it, data (which meant so much to me) and the whole physical machine, like you had put into fire. i'm so sorry to hear about your computer. :(  i've encountered a similar issue, but in my case, it was possible to retrieve the what had been on the hard drive. i'm not sure if you can get it serviced by a tech store, but hopefully that will get your data back. i'm really sorry. try to have a happier day tomorrow! :)

I agree try using "system restore" to see if that works and for future reference I always set up a guest user account on my computer so that guest do not have any access whatsiever to any of my personal files, You may want to set that up as well. Sorry to hear bout ur pic and videos. I luv ur channel. When you take more pics of ur kids, you can upload them to an online album like snapfish. It's a good option since u can also easily loose ur pics in other ways such as viruses etc. Happy New Year and thanks for all the great tutorials and videos.

try and see if you could go to system restore and go back to a date before she used your comp you might be able to get everything back that way. look for system restore i think it's in the control under system and maintenance.

I know the feeling. I let my friend use mine too and I don't know what he did but I lost everything over twenty-five thousand photos all my personal files music business records and nothing was backed up I wanted to KILL him I was so damn MAD. Thanks God for Itunes I was able to get some of my music back because they save your purchases. Now I back up all my files although I do forget sometime. So Back Up those Files Girl.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your pictures! I know how that feels! A room in my house had a pipe burst and flooded the entire room; all my pictures, keepsakes of things my children made in grammar school where in a filing cabinet and were RUINED! I cried like someone had died! I think you can get your stuff back if you take your PC to like a Best Buy and their IT guys can recover them for you. Try to enjoy the rest of your holiday!

I know just how you feel. I had a waterbed and left the top opened a little and my fat ass kept sitting on the bed not knowing I had my pictures at the foot of the bed. When I finally saw them I just cried and creid because there were all the baby pictures I had accumilated of my 9 yr old daughter ruined...Needless to say I don't give out any pictures anymore.. Yes, please try the system restore. Restore it to a date before your ex-freind deleted your pics. If you're not sure how to do that type in "system restore" into Google and i'm sure you'll see plenty of tips. Anyway, congrats to all the winners!

Hey sweety, look in the recycle bin, if its not there just go to system restore and back it up to the date you last used it. All of your pictures will be there.
