Network marketing as a concept does work. Instead of recrtuiting a downline, it's more important to place emphasis on recruting a sales force to move products, if not, you will always be recruiting a bunch of do nothing people who have the same dream of sitting back collecting untold commisions on unlimited levels of people doing nothing. SELL THE PRODUCT!!. TRAIN OTHERS TO SELL A PRODUCT!! NO PRODUCT=NOBUSINESS. NO PRODUCT= PYRAMID SCHEME.
The biggest reason network marketers fail is because they forget that they have to sell a product. At the end of the day if you don't have a product to sell to increase the value of someones life, then you don't have a business. People get sucked into the idea that building a downline that supposedly will do the work for you will create wealth beyond the dreams of avarice, all the while not realizing that your downline are alo people that don't want to sell anything and so we chase our tails.
