I read the Da Vinci Code and absolutely love it. It's one of my favourite books and I couldn't wait to see the film after. But I was really disappointed. I've almost finished Angels and Demons and want to see the film, but don't know if I will be disappointed like I was with Da Vinci Code. Is the film version Angels and Demons better than Da Vinci code?

As a man of God and I believe that there is more than just living, growing old and dying. However, I believe a lot of lies are told by the church and it is not always truthful. My two cents. The movie was made REALLY well. A large amount of scenes had genius cinematography, beautiful lighting, and clever placements. The music was incredible, one of Zimmer's finest.. The acting, for the most part, was solid. Skarsgaard (?), Hanks, and even McGregor to an extent were all quite good.
Each scene looked like it was directed really well. Especially the helicopter scene. The problem, however, was the script. Try as they can, they still include slow information scenes.
this movie sucked, alot.i read the book and the way the story infolds is completely different. It starts with langdon going to a science center caled cern, where the first body is found. And it is not Vittoria that discovers her fathers body, yes, not her partner, her fahter, but it's the leading cern scientist that finds the dead body, vittoria doesn't even know until a few chapeters in.
@dragonlance667 also, that document he gets at the end of the movie he finds and keeps when he's in the vatican archives about 2/3rds of the way through the book. Instead, he gets the illuminati diamond as a parting gift. The entire unfolding of the dtory is completely changed by the directorrs and it isn't even really a representation of the book. If you liked this movie, read the book because it's at least ten times better

These recollections were then put together by the Council of Nicea to create the book known today as the 'Bible'. So this these recollections obviously has been changed while being handed down through the narrators and has also changed AFTER the council of Nicea compiled it into a book.

I read the Da Vinci Code and absolutely love it. It's one of my favourite books and I couldn't wait to see the film after. But I was really disappointed. I've almost finished Angels and Demons and want to see the film, but don't know if I will be disappointed like I was with Da Vinci Code. Is the film version Angels and Demons better than Da Vinci code?

In addition, it deals justly with all walks of life ranging from finance to punishing crime. And in the Qur'an it describes embryology, geology and physics to such a great degree of accuracy. Proof that it is divine is that it has scientific revalations in it that describe various scientific facts that have only been discovered recently yet the quran states this 1432 years ago. A time when microscopes and all that didnt exist. The quran explains embryology, physics, geology, oceanlogy etc to such a degree of accuracy.

As a man of God and I believe that there is more than just living, growing old and dying. However, I believe a lot of lies are told by the church and it is not always truthful. I believe that Hell is a place of emotional punishment, and the hell fire is infact the burning sadness in peoples souls, for I can't seem to grasp why God would leave us to be torn apart. I think going to church, praying for forgiveness, and worshipping God is good but its impossible to follow everything the church says.

My two cents. The movie was made REALLY well. A large amount of scenes had genius cinematography, beautiful lighting, and clever placements. The music was incredible, one of Zimmer's finest.. The acting, for the most part, was solid. Skarsgaard (?), Hanks, and even McGregor to an extent were all quite good.
Each scene looked like it was directed really well. Especially the helicopter scene. The problem, however, was the script. Try as they can, they still include slow information scenes.

this movie sucked, alot.i read the book and the way the story infolds is completely different. It starts with langdon going to a science center caled cern, where the first body is found. And it is not Vittoria that discovers her fathers body, yes, not her partner, her fahter, but it's the leading cern scientist that finds the dead body, vittoria doesn't even know until a few chapeters in.

Instead, he gets the illuminati diamond as a parting gift. The entire unfolding of the dtory is completely changed by the directorrs and it isn't even really a representation of the book. If you liked this movie, read the book because it's at least ten times better
