dont be so focused on the death woman thinking she was the demon & kill those people. she was also a victim herself. if you paid attention there was this statue in part 8 which haunted noriko & appeared in the photo. it was a demon or some sort which behind all of this. the death woman may as well controlled by it. maybe noriko is still alive because it doesn't take her live yet, but eventually the demon will kill her too. it just wasn't ready yet.
