But for the headphones I personally wouldn't go for the K99. Those are the really low end model of the AKGs and I'd actually recommend the AKG K141, K171, K240, or K271 (these are a bit pricier but worth it)

The new xboxs don't have that high of failure rate. I'm looking for a new ps3 because my first ps3 burned up. My xbox 360 works great but only after I got it replaced a week after I bought it :P but it was one of the bad batch I guess, the one they replaced it with was from the newer ones and it still is going strong. Microsoft is not as bad as you think Eric!!!!!!

PS3 is worth it, buy extended warranty just to be safe. My original 60GB $600 PS3 died after 14 months, uncool shit. But PS3 has the highest end features. I now own a 80GB PS3, not the slim though.

Uncharted 2 is excellent, probably the most complete 3rd person shooter, It plays like a perfect nonstop hollywood blockbuster action adventure interactive movie. Plus it has a full online multiplayer experience.

C'mon man. Apple has Mini-DP to DVI (and Duallink DVI) adapters. Don't need that USB thingy.

It supports only up to 1600x1200 (4:3).

He has a vid on it. He uses it to hide his intuos3 tablet.

drobo s, it can hold 5 drives, 10tb of storage and it can stand 2 drive failures at the same time, better than your suggested raid

it is good, but it sucks compared to OWC. OWC has a hardware RAID that has a switch on the back that lets you switch it to RAID 0, 1, 5 etc.

Hard drives can fail at the same time. Especially they're identical, made at exactly the same time and in the same factory, and had exactly same amount of use, say in a RAID. It's rare, but it does happen.

A couple of times I've had two car headlight bulbs fail within a few minutes of each other. The right bulb fails then the left bulb fails a few minutes afterwards. Both identical bulbs where new when the car was made, and both have had exactly the same amount of use.

drobo doesnt have the switch the owc does. On the OWC unit, you can flip the switch and change it to a RAID 1, 5, 0 etc. The hardware RAID it has built in supports that. I dont think drobo has that function. And also the OWC locks with a key, not sure about the drobo.

as much as i hate your pc bashing i will say that you cant go wrong with the ps3 and uncharted 2. you probably already know but you will be able to stream movies you may have on your computer to the ps3. not sure if it works with mac but it works great with a pc.

Ps If you researched abit more you would find out the new Xbox 360 has a lower fail rate than the PS3, but if it does fail which is VERY unlikely Microsoft will replace it for free. Sony charges $150 to get the yellow light failure fixed, with around 10% of PS3's failing thats alot $ for Sony.

no. ive had both. actually 3 xboxs and 1 ps3. ill do my own compare survey. mine broke 3x, bro in law 1x, 6 of my friends xboxs broke. now theirs not as many ps3s but out of the 8 ppl i know that have them, only 1 is broke. in my own survey its 100% for xbox and 20% for ps3 and really the ps3 is still working, it is just loud cause something happened to the fan

I started out with a Xbox 360 but it broke a ridiculous amount of times so I got a PS3 instead and its much much better. You get free online play (which you have to pay monthly for on the 360), WIFI (which you have to pay $100 for on the 360), a Bluray player (which you don't get with a 360 because they chose HD DVD and it failed), better graphics, and SixAxis. Its much more reliable, way quieter, more powerful, and theres a great game line up. Uncharted 2 is an AMAZING game by the way 10/10.

Yeah I personally don't really like the SixAxis but its kinda cool nonetheless. The graphics are way better on exclusive games like Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted, and Metal Gear Solid but on some multi platform games the graphics are about the same as the 360 since they're ported.
