Taste test of the new Blackthorn cider recipe

Blackthorn is my favourite drink. The new one is not as dry but still dryer than the other leading brands. I think the makers were trying to compete with strongbow and magners but blackthorns appeal is it's dryer flavour. Having said that I still enjoy the new recipe even though it's significantly weaker than it used to be!

@lukekelly76 Everyone keeps going on about the sweet and dry. It's all about the taste, i have never liked it draught in a pub as it was always to thick for me. I've been drinkin' Blackthorn cider since i was 20 years old and now i'm 35, i have been drinking the stuff for the best part of 15 years. The feeling of that first ice cold can when i came home from work followed by the most fantastic burp ever,it bears no resemblance to the original at all. I just hope they bring it back in the can too

im drinking the new stuff now, i like it, never tasted the old stuff, but i think this one is yummy, its perected sweetness perfect dryness perfect sourness, but im not to keen on the smell, remind me od the cheep white cider
