People keep Fennec foxes as pets in the United States. Each city and state has different regulations. Many states they allow them as pets. And no, these are not caught in the wild and shipped to the US. There are breeders right here that breed and sell them. I've never owned one, but I do know they require more care than a dog or cat. Cute little things :)
