Your right. The button is set low. So low you can't activate it. Just got mine and after breaking my thumbnail off trying to push the button in further not to mention by that time the knife is not in a good hold its in a hold for pushing the button. Its going back in the box and we'll see if I can get a refund. I'm calling it defective. Sorry Boker, one strike policy.

love the blade on this the number of teeth on the blade dont make a clean cut and tears skin or hardened foam at a angled graze and hurts as hell but great design
