WOW! Congrats to Mad Ned Productions for a great piece. Nice job also from Natasha, who really had to carry the piece. Really fine work. I also was impressed by the crane shot in the opening. It's a classic horror movie shot, and was done very well. I loved that she almost, but didn't check in the bathroom when looking for Cory. I wondered about it at the time. Great writing. Great direction, great acting. I noticed there was a stunt-double in the credits, what for?
@DouglasJGalpin thanks for the kind words! re: stunt double, ha ha, yeah its a little bit of an inside joke, we needed someone as a stand-in while we were setting up the crane shot in the tub, and getting a 10yo boy to sit still that long is one of the most difficult stunts I can think of.. So Matt spent a while laying in the bottom of the (dry) tub. Technically I guess that makes him a stand in, but stunt double sounds so much classier.. :-)
@JournalofWhut It's a crane shot. We built a crane a few years back out of a surveyors transit, pieces of aluminum salvaged from a TV antenna and curtain rod, and a boat trailer axle. We used it for the opening shot, and the tub shot. (and we even avoided dropping the camera in the tub!)

Hey I liked this movie at the 48hr. It was pretty cool and looked very neat on the big screen :) The opening shot is cool how was that done?
