Amir is a good boxer, no doubt about it - but he still has a long career ahead of him to prove his credentials. Personally, in terms of "up and coming" boxers, I'm more interested in Kell Brook (current British weterweight champ) than Amir, and hope to see the two clash in the future. Both fighters have padded records full of bums. khan has an old washed up Barrera on his record as well as a solid journeyman who manged to get a World Title Kotelnic but other than that it is bums . So this is the battle of the bum beaters. Both have suspect chins,Khan is faster and better on the outside. Salita is betyter on the inside. When Khan fires his punches his body is static and defence is not great if Salita can sneak in a left hook he can get a KO but I think khan wins it.

Thank you - and I agree with your comment. I'm not Asain myself - but I AM a boxing fan - and don't think race should be discussed in relation to boxing, because it's irrelevant. Amir is a good boxer, no doubt about it - but he still has a long career ahead of him to prove his credentials. Personally, in terms of "up and coming" boxers, I'm more interested in Kell Brook (current British weterweight champ) than Amir, and hope to see the two clash in the future. That would be a good fight!
