Just thought I would mention you can get money off if you know somone who works for Orange 20% off infact under the friends and family scheme. Also its not always fair to say Orange offer poor customer service they simply can't give you what you want as this is not a reflection on thats csr's ability.

Ok guys who want to buy an iPhone 3gs. I had this problem and i thought about what to go with and i went with o2. Why? Because what does orange have? Orange has terrible mobile networking but good 3G. O2 has both good 3G and Mobile Networking. The only reason why people tend to go with orange is the The Orange Wednesdays. Yes i thought about it think about it,are you really gonna use it all the time? and is a free cinema ticket worth the £30 or £35 or whatever,your paying ? No it isnt.

i know what ur on about ornage have really bad people on the phones and when u phone their tell u different to what the shopm says ir if u phone up again they said different again grrrr and they hung upp if u try to call again they take the piss . and u hate them sooo muchhhhh . 1. It's frightening when strangers wit a foreign voice in another country asked U for yur details, ex: account numbers to confirm U etc. The reckless incompetency of these companies forced on customers is lamentable. Wonder there's so much fraud from abroad and data harvesting. Can U really trust?

2. Nothing stopping pples if they'd make huge money harvesting your details right? We are told these Pples are vetted X.Y.Z but that's just stupid. Vetting does not deter would B crimes or criminals or organised crime where more than one person is involved. Best just not do it at all. Don't bloody send our details abroad to any1. What on earth is wrong with this country?

I got a 16Gb 3GS on launch day with Orange. been with them for MANY years. never had a problem with their CS nor have i ever spoken to them in an overseas office!

they have a huge office in Newcastle.

as for CS, pay you bill and you never have to call them...

I was with Orange for 10 years and they were good at the time. Moved to 02 last year because of the iPhone and the applications i needed it to support. Since moving O2 the customer service has been fantastic and yes they are on shore call centres, where Orange just hand you off to overseas idiots.

Would never move back to Orange.

And what are they thinking by not supporting Visual Voice mail - fuckwhits!

I was really surprised they dont offer VV either. It was only when I looked at their info more closely (see link in sidebar of video). Their customer service is a HUGE downer for me.

I had the nokia as a side phone when I was ALSO with 02. The nokia back then was a really nice phone and i got a cool offer with it... or so I thought. I rarely used it because they kept overcharging hence why I cancelled it

can't rememer what this particular scheme is called but will try and find out. Oh and, Llyods TSB (bank) are also applicable in this scheme.
