On January 4, 2007 a jury found Michael Goodwin guilty of two counts of murder in the death of Mickey Thompson and his wife. Goodwin was sentenced to two consecutive life-without-parole terms for the murders of Thompson and his wife. The judge also denied Goodwin's motion for a new trial.

Just from this intial recitation of the facts, it was clear to me that this was a professional hit-no doubt about it.

These guys left on bicycle-very rare for murderers who normally have cars waiting.

These guys probably shot the couple, fled on bikes, then got rid of the bikes and sped away in a car tucked away somehwere else.

What intrigued me was that the daughter of the family next door said the killer took his time aiming.

i was playing ouija. then i got in touch with a ghost named mickey thompson. he said he was shot to death in his driveway with his wife trudy. i asked who killed him. it said 2 assassins. then i asked who hired them and it said mike goodwen. then i looked up this murder and it was all the same. it creep me out. i knew absolutely nothing of this guy. i found out everything from the ouija board.

You're correct, Michael Goodwin was convicted of the murders two years ago and was sentenced to 2 consecutive life sentences. They have some information regarding the hitmen, an informant told the police that the hitmen may have fled to Pensacola, FL after the murders, and then possibly to the Carribean. Goodwin still refuses to disclose who they were.
