Hail Damaged Roof-Colorado Roofing Contractors

Severe hail damage - no doubt. But it's funny no one ever chides the cheap bastard who owns the building - two layers, shingles about 20 years old. The owner wanted to do everything on the "cheap" until he contacts his insurance company.

I have just simply been amazed at the rise in roofing .. Seemingly it is the only construction going on .. It's boomtime for roofing contractors and homeowners in need of extra cash .. . I am designing boots that when you walk on a roof will create "Impact Craters "

Then the irony is I am a contractor /carpenter and he wanted me to do it as long as he got a kickback of 2000.00 .. that will help him cover his deductible . help buy more Oxycodone to snort . He got a check and the parties kicked off .. and I opted out of the work .. There was other work that had to be done inside attached to the claim .. but he said we'll just spray Kilz on it and tell them we fixed it ..

Amazing .. As the economy has slipped . There has been an exponential increase in roofing /insurance claims .. Therefore the economy caused the " Hailstorms " or could it be .. maybe perhaps homeowners /contractors looking for a way to mutually make money .. Amazing that my neighbors house which is the same age and same roofing ,, yet he had hail damage ..and I didn't .. or does it factor in that he is a doper on a fixed disabiltiy income ?

Let's see..stop wearing the stupid sunglasses when doing an interview. It is such a sign of an individual not aware of proper presentation. Could you explain to me the last time anyone has ever saw someone in a profession doing an interview with sunglasses on their forehead (any example will do).

Lots of people do interviews with glasses on their forehead. Apparently Little Wayne does too. The sunglasses broke and I had to get some new ones. Thanks for pointing out that to me.

In my opinion the roof looks aged even though there is visible damage. The video definitely shows damage and merits a legit claim.I am a roofer and I also see lots of fraud in the State of Georgia. In my opinion the insurance should not have to pay for someone being cheap and not tearing off the old roofing and just adding layers. The thermal breakdown is worse on 2 layers that 1 layer.

I have heard that some contractors that knock on your door will put hail damage on your house if you don’t have any and that there is a website that teaches them how to do it at hailfraud dot ...

whats obvious is that the roof is and has been overdue for a new roof - its old and if the homeowner would have gotten it replaced at the reasonable end term of the old roofs warrenty they wouldn't have the issues as seen in the video , so now thier hoping to have the insurance company replace what they should have done much sooner.

@TheSolebomber Storm damage regardless of the age of the roof is storm damage(period). The insurance company writes the policy and there is no specifications on how old or new the roof must be to be considered a loss. If the roof is not leaking and is doing its job in shedding water(which is what it is designed to do) why not let the insurance company make the call? The roof was damaged until the storm damaged it.
