The unbounded arrogance of those nancy-boys in the USFS, deciding that a trail is 'unsustainable', a trail that was already a century old when they were still in diapers gumming their mother's thin sour milk.
That trail sustains just fine without their johnny come lately meddling.
This was excellent, the under carriage shots were cool. Closing this area is a real disservice to the public, restricting access to this beautiful landscape is just not right. Is there a petition currently in place?
We asked for this to be included on the Travel Management plan...I know several people asked. When it was left off....I called Tahoe National Forest directly, and I asked them why they closed it. That's how I learned, they deemed the trail to be "unsustainable". What we WON in return....was at the end of the video, you see us running down a main road. That road was closed to OHV, but previously not enforced. Well..it's now legal for OHV. Yeah! LOL
