@huzza18 i'd have to grab the book again, but i think it's madison square garden in NY. a few months prior to this, they'd opened 2 nights for the stones in los angeles, at the forum. it was a mess - axl was almost a no show, guns hadn't seen each other in months, axl explained to the entire crowd the first night that slash was a junkie and killing the band. but mick asked him to come out and sing a song or two with Izzy in NY....

All those that think Axl Rose was over-rated blah blah. Take a look! This is in the 80's. And Mick Jagger is an established frontman of one magical rock n' roll band. And Axl commands the stage. And there's only one fella holding the notes at the end, and it ain't Mick. Axl is in his early-mid 20's here. Check out Keith at the end of the song standing behind Mick n Axl. He knows Axl gave Mick a good run for his money. I love both bands, but to walk on stage and sing with Jagger and the Stones!
