  • Such a cute dog :)

  • Take him for a walk, throw a ball, play fetch, don't ever play bite with your dog. All dogs are different.

  • Not good advice at all!!

  • lol at the girl making noises xD :)

  • @gul091 Yeah I sounded pretty retarded back then.

  • aww my dog play bites with me, its not a problem with my dog, because she makes really soft bites and when she accidently gets a bit carried away when she is too excited and bites a little too hard, when i cry ouch, she stops and licks my hand

  • Hi, I have motoric problem with my arms, i can't move them very well.

I often see my dog get bored, so I try to play with it.

I use another part of my body to play with, however when the dog bites it hurts like hell.

I want my dog to lick instead of bite, can you show me how? with your fist or 1 hand

    thank you

  • this is hilarious stoned

  • wow perfect though I dont know if to work on that now or late. See i hav a husky lab mix puppy and his teeth at darn needle sharp so it the lit chihuahua pup both bout same age 3mo. think i should work on it now or til their baby teeth fall n get their adult teeth. i read they get it around now and ends 6th to 9th mo

  • The trick u said doesnt work maybe it does but in mine slapes work better even tho is rude but somethin has to b done shes to over excited trade u dogs i dont koww but my dog is unteachable plz add more vid. Showin how to do the trick maybe im doin it wrong well tyvm

  • wow thanks for the tips really needed that..when did u start teaching your dog to play like that?

  • I just bite back really hard if it bites me hard, jk ;)

I don't know, mine bites hard when I cover her with a blanket.. I thinks that the blanket makes you immune to its bites

  • So CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great video. i just got a new pup (i have a video of him being crazy) who is super hyper and loves to play-bite. i never know if i should egg him on or not. i'll try this out, thanks :)

  • Nestly52, that is so cool, I've seen lots of other vids telling me how to stop puppies biting, but I don't want to do that, I want him to have fun and experience a bit of rough play. I shall certainly be giving your techniques a go!

  • When i make a crying noise, my dog gets more excited and bites more.

  • Nestly: This works best with puppies, so if your dog does that, stop doing that technique and try something else, like standing up and ignoring him/her.

  • @steveh1010 yeah dats true i start snarling and crying he starts running and bites me

  • @steveh1010 true i cry and snarl to my dog and he is a mini snauzer hes really cute and he starts snarling tooo

  • @steveh1010 same LOL i somtimes think shes retarded

  • Nestly: Well yeah, but the commands still stand. As long as you teach them where their boundaries are you can still play. I'd probably use a tug toy if you've got a German Shepard or something, though, haha.

  • thank you...? But i dunno weather it would work on my pup

  • Nestly: Lemme know if you need any more tips. :3 Or if you have questions. This video's rather old and I'm sure I could come up with something better.

  • Nestly: What kind do you have?

  • Do you have lovebirds too?

  • Nestly: I have A Lovebird. XD

  • My dog loves that. She's a standard poodle so she's really mouthy.

  • With my dog, when I screech like that, it gets mad and bites me even more..

  • Nestly: Well then definitely avoid doing that. Either you did it too much or something happened to scare the dog with that sound. Sometimes dogs will act aggressively towards an action when it's been used in a negative way.

  • same here lol. Omfg my golden retriever bites me a lot and it hurts like a bitch. I got him 3 weeks ago and my hands are full of bite marks scratches and makes me bleed. I donno what to do, can someone tell me please. Also he bites on my clothes while i have them on and it rips

  • Nestly: If you don't want him doing that, then as soon as he gets too rough, straight out ignore him until he calms down. The key is to be firm but calm. It's all in how you present yourself. If he still persists, maybe try just leaving the room every time he does that, to show him you go away and the fun is over when he gets out of hand.

  • what would happen if u hada bigger dog how do u do no biting

  • Nestly: Doesn't matter the size of the dog. Use the same basics for big dogs as well.

  • okay thnx for the tip

  • Wow, you've trained Deku quite well there Nestly. XD

Thanks for making this video, its gonna help me out one day when I get my own puppy. :3

Just one question, I couldn't really tell what noise you made when you wanted Deku to stop biting ( the sort of yelping noise you did when you were showing how to react to a painful bite? ), what was that?

  • Nestly: It's just as you said. XD A really, high-pitched yelping sound. I would definitely avoid using this technique all the time, as they drowned it out if you do it too much and that's really bad. Only squeak like that if you feel they are about to brake the skin or really do some damage. Though, it should never come to that point. D:

  • Thank you so much for posting this =]

My 2 month old pug will NOT stop biting ive tried every method and this is my last hope pretty much haha.

  • Nestly: Oh no! Well good luck! Though if he's only two months, he's still gotta lose his puppy teeth, so biting and mouthing is a natural habit. By 5 months, he should tame down the mouthing. :3

  • omg deku is soo cute with those ears

  • Your such a great trainer its less then 1 y/o and already knows so many commands XD nestly you rock
