John DEnver made sining look effortlessly - mainly becasue - IT WAS!!!!!! He was truly one in ten million - he was born with a pitch-perfect voice and took years training his voice! He once tune the RCA studio piano - completely by using only his voice!!! The technition that came in to tune it - said it was in PERFECT tune!!! You can count on one hand - those born with pitch perfect voices - Elvis - Sinatra, Crosby, Beverly Sills - and John Denver!

I'll always miss the music that was to be!

Along the years I have been a fan of John Denver. I am from Brazil. It seems incredible, but I have just found out that John reminds me of someone I met here in México last year.

Great video of a great song. JD released this trying to change his image a bit. Though it was commercially unsuccessful, it was and remains a great song. What is so cool about JD is that he sings effortlessly. Very few can do that nowadays. He is really missed, and these vids really help keep his memory alive--thanks.

Hi Ava, This song appears on two of JD's albums, and was first released on the Dreamland Express album. It has also been released on the The Country Roads Collection album.

It was not written by JD. In fact, words and music are by Richard Kerr and Frank Musker

I also feel his spirit when I'm driving through the Rocky Mountains while playing his music! This world is a better place because of John's contributions. Heaven is now a better place because John Denver is there!
