  • house of poo i have never heard the poo said with such meaning poo tastic

  • How many times have I heard them play this song live.. countless. Even when Kenny opened the show alone.

Steve and Bud and I followed them around in high school... such an annoying trio of teenagers.

Shows and rehearsals ... it gave us the inspiration to create records and, in my case, film scores.

Later on in my media career I got to meet the voices of the Pooh clan. Pooh and Tigger and Eeyore are friends. I also knew Piglet and Owl. The most wonderful time of my life. Twice.

  • IT'S NATIONAL POOH DAY!!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO HIT THIS SONG UP!!! Thumbs up this if u guys want Mr. Loggins and Mr. Messina to be recognized as the truly amazing artists they were. Let's get up to a million views on this video! Happy pooh day, everyone :)

  • "I love you!" (as this song played on the turntable)

"When we have a son, we'll name him Christopher."

And so . . . 9 years after the first expression of love, our darling boy arrived.

  • great man great song!

  • The Sacred Relic of Jesus's face on Mary Magdalene's Ho Thong -- that is the foretelling of Kenny Loggins. He can save my soul and sniff my thongs any day of the week. Dennis Wilson drowned trying to save his Ho's Thong, one of his Favorite Things, foretold in the Bible Book Of The Sound Of Music. Dennis Wilson and Kenny Loggins have the same handsome Jesus faces, Twin Saviors -- their reward for sniffing panties instead of having too many kids, born of Jizz, code for Jizzesus Says No More Kids.

  • This song... so good...

  • I used to sing this song in the car with my daughter and when she was little. Now she's 20 and we still sing it together. Last year as a special treat I got tickets to see them in Worcester Mass at the Hanover Theater. It was such a wonderful show. A memory that is priceless.

  • awesome song

  • My very first concert back in 1972 with my good friend, Patti. They were great and adorable... Jim Messina used to come to the hair salon I worked at for his cuts back in the early 80's. Such a nice guy...

  • my dad sang this song to me when i was small....i wish he was here to sing this to me now :( my dad was the greatest rest in peace dad :)

  • I've made fun of Kenny Loggins for years but I think part of me actually likes his music.

  • @Megatron666

You know ... it just so happens that Kenny used to make fun of you, for years, too ... but after awhile a part of him grew to like you as a admirer of his music! Wow! What kismet!

  • i just saw him in concert his is awesome!!!! had alot of fun, good times:)

  • This brings back so many very fond memories of my early twenties and memories of my children. This song was a lullaby for my very sick son in hospital and later a song for my daughter. Thanks YouTube.

  • 9 people have no soul

  • @cr0magnum1

    now its ten :(

  • Kenny Loggins is a very good musician.

  • I hope they'll use this song in the new Pooh movie.

  • @1805movie yeah im hoping so too, even if they just throw it in for the end credits

  • This song still inspires me as it did so many years ago. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to turn back the hands of time, so to speak, to relive the feeling of Joy, hope and wonder he brought to my life! Thank you Kenny!

  • Yo Gabba Gabba desperately need to take a note from this example of kiddie music. Desperately!

  • Kenny loggins ditched Jimmy after this and went on to make some of the worst movie music every recorded.

  • @thethoughtsofme quite true, very sad what he did with his talent.

  • @thethoughtsofme - Maybe the worst music in your opinion but there's no denying Kenny made lots of money from his solo career. In fact, his music was used in at least a handful of movies when he went solo. NOT BAD KENNY!

  • I'm almost 20. My sister played this song for me the last time we were home from college together. I didn't recognize it, but it sounded familiar and I burst into uncontrollable tears. She gave me a hug and told me that our daycare used to play it to lull us to sleep when we were little--over 16 years ago. Songs like this just don't leave your memory <3

  • they sound as good live as they do in their recordings. something that you dont see these days...

    great stuff!!1!

  • my dad got me this cd when i was like 7 because i loved winnie the pooh. this is still one of my favorite songs.

  • Each time it gets the "chase the clouds away" part, I always thinking of Becky from Full House butchering this part lol.

  • @Alyn08 Me too!

  • used to love Winnie the Pooh as a child, when this was originally released i was 7 years old.

  • they say if you cut off kenny loggins's arm and bury it in the sand, it grows another kenny loggins!

  • The song that made Kenny Loggins (and Mr Messina) famous.

I used to sing this song to my kids when they were little, all 5 of them at different ages as they grew up. It made them laugh, it made them cry sometimes, but the song moved them, and me, everytime we played it or sung it. I 'll be singing it to my grandkids now.

    Classic. Epic. Beautiful

  • @2llezzarrazzell2 Me too!! HAHAHA in '83 this song and the rest was my baby girl's lullaby tape!! made her calm and sleep well every time..very beautiful to listen to in it's simplicity :D

  • @2llezzarrazzell2 i like to visit priosners and sing it to them, it seems to soothe tham....

  • @2llezzarrazzell2

Wow! My husband also sang this to our 5 kids as they rested on his shoulder. The oldest created his 3rd word (after mama and dada) "Robbie" -- meaning his blanket, which was on dad's shoulder with him. Robbie, of course, from (Christopher) Robin. Our kids subsequently all called their blankies, 'robbie'.

  • @anglin2012 That is so cute anglin. This song has influenced many people in many ways. I love that your hubby picked this song as a lullaby, like I did, to sing to the little ones. To have them associate their blanky with this song is pretty neat. One day your kids will be singing this tune, or playing it, to your grandkids, and them to theirs. So simple, and so touching, is the song and the meaning behind it, right?

  • great song. I have done the song at a karaoke show once . but most disc jockeys can't find the song in karaoke format. and the one dj that had it lost it when his system crashed and has been unable to find it again.

  • this is kewl, thank you for sending to me:)

  • He reminds me of the actor who played Prince Rillian in the old BBC version of "The Silver Chair" movie!

  • Beautiful memories:)

  • who in the WORLD would click dislike?

  • MIU, Santa Barbara, 1973, After Forest Academy night meeting by kitchen. There's Kenny Loggins hanging out. John Mears says, "Wanna jam?" Loggins replies, "Sure". Very cool indeed.

  • He says he wrote this when he was 17 I think thats cool that he could come up with that at that age when your out parting and crap and not thinking about pooh and stuff like that your thinking of girls and sex arent you. That kinda proves that your born with your talents dont it.

  • He looks like Jesus

  • @Kinnalkey Haha- that is what I was just saying to someone.

  • I know.. rite?

  • @Kinnalkey

    He sounds like Jesus.

    Coincidence? I think not.

  • @Kinnalkey

Yes Kinnalkey it does .... and the other one looks like Apostle Paul on back up guitar! : p

  • @Kinnalkey i know..odd lol

  • @Kinnalkey So does Charles Manson -- when Jesus went Bezerkilly in the temple.

  • This classic needs to be preserved in a museum. It's simple yet brilliant & reminds me of the innocence of youth. I'd go back to those days in 1972 in a heartbeat. Sadly, you won't find anything like this today. This is one to cherish.

  • OMG listen to this one! Just rambling from a very old lady LOL LOL Im in musical heaven tonight!!!

  • OMG listen to this one! Just rambling from a very old lady LOL LOL

  • @ballajtd28 Everytime I hear this song, I think of my son..it's his song.

  • hahaha this guy reminds me of Shane Dawson!

  • Anyone know who is sitting/singing to the right of Kenny L? He looks familiar but I can't put a name to the face. Thanks

  • Dude, that's Jim Messina.

  • Good Lord, Kenny Loggins had such a great voice.

  • my dad used to play this for me before bed every night for the first 6 years of my life.

this song means so much to me

  • What's with Loggins' pooh obsession?

  • @HeartAttackMan74 He grew up with Winnie the Pooh, and this song is basically about the loss of innoccence as you grow up, that is what is ment about travel much farther then he should. His remake of this song, Return to Pooh corner, is this song with an added verse about how he rediscovered his youthful innoccence though his son.

  • @kelaEQ2 good answer. Now what's the meaning behind Keep the Fire and Danger Zone?

  • love the hair Kenny! but more importantly this song hold a special place in my heart. sang it to my brother when he was small. and when i get married and have my babies, this will be one of their lullabies

  • This was one of my ALL TIME

favorite songs... UNTIL good 'ol Kenny hit big.

Started adding to his concert fees to have his ( wife and kids) be there.

Go figure. Corporate America is right smack in the musical world.

Good ol Kenny... folk singer and good ol hometown boy.

Yeah RIGHT!!! Stopped listenin' to him aloooong time ago.

Check it out if you don't believe me.

  • @p20 welcome to the 70's dude!

  • @p20 you sound like my dad 35 years ago...

  • I know it makes me sound old, but I was 11 years old when this song came out, and it was still cool to be an 11 year old boy listening to a man sing about a stuffed bear. Thanks Mr. Loggins (and Messina).

  • His hair looks so soft. lol

  • The crystal clear voice of Kenny Loggins.

  • i <3 this song:))
