@lorrekut This works on all types of paper. The key is spraying just long/close enough to get a wet layer of paint without getting it to pool on the paper.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it gives the painting an added effect. That and/or helps the paint dry.

Ok, yes the fire is to dry the painting at the end. However a lot of Spray paint artists don't use it, or in my case use it depending on the type of painting.. (If a quick one with relatively small amount of paint/detail, use fire, if very detailed air dry) Also, it gets a lot of attention when done live!! Check my art out at mysprayart.tumblr.com!

@razer770 thats magazine paper, it pulls wet layers off the dry-er layers and leaves what he wants to leave, he uses magazine paper because it absorbs the paint and pulls it rather than smearing it

@monmonz77 fire is to dry it as you seee he uses magazine paper on top of what he sparys and it easily removes some of it but when fired it drys it to avoid it to spoil
