not in all cases but in most people that are completely against affermative action are not agaisnt it because white men are just so oppresed in society. They are mad that their right to oppress minorities has been taken away from them. Also there have been many afermative action cases of reverse descrimnation agaisnt whites that have been ruled in their favor because of affermative action.
She had great reviews for years and years, but had terrible reviews this past year. I think a few lawyers were mad at her and got nasty about it in the review. All her fellow appeal court judges deny that she is a mean judge.
All judges are menacing to some people. To me, for example. I never liked judges. I guess because I was barked at in court once for truancy in high school. I even got so nervous recently when I went to clear a traffic ticket that I asked a really stupid question when I was up there. That's just personal. It's quite stupid to professionally attack a potential supreme court judge for previously doing their job, and through "anonymous" critics.

What bothers me about Graham's litany of negative comments on Sotomayor was that they were cherry-picked, making it biased.
WHO made those comments? Did he pull them out of his ass? He says that in some almanac of the Federal Judiciary , "lawyers anonymously rate judges and here's what they said about you" (as if it was unanimous). Later, he says and contradicts himself "In fairness to you, there are plenty of statements in support of you".

I sure would love it if Sotomayor, after ALL those different senators asked her about the same "wise latina" remark, she read that quote of Sen. Graham from the Alito confirmation hearings to them. Damn it would be sweet to watch her throw their hypocrisy back in their faces. But, of course, it would only enrage and strengthen the Republican opposition. Plus, she has too much class to do that. I don't though, so I sure would love to see it.

not in all cases but in most people that are completely against affermative action are not agaisnt it because white men are just so oppresed in society. They are mad that their right to oppress minorities has been taken away from them. Also there have been many afermative action cases of reverse descrimnation agaisnt whites that have been ruled in their favor because of affermative action.

She had great reviews for years and years, but had terrible reviews this past year. I think a few lawyers were mad at her and got nasty about it in the review. All her fellow appeal court judges deny that she is a mean judge.

All judges are menacing to some people. To me, for example. I never liked judges. I guess because I was barked at in court once for truancy in high school. I even got so nervous recently when I went to clear a traffic ticket that I asked a really stupid question when I was up there. That's just personal. It's quite stupid to professionally attack a potential supreme court judge for previously doing their job, and through "anonymous" critics.
