Ok first of all hamechicoloft: The arabic lettering on the mine doesnt say "Made in 1941". What you thought was a date is actual a production number. This means that mine was the 1,941 one built on that factory line. As for the mine itself there is no way it was built in 1841. This type of mine is WAY to advanced for something built that long ago. Mines were not build of plastic until 1950's+ and not shaped-charged AT mines until the 1970's+.

Sorry I ment 1941 not 1841. Anyway the duct shape on the top of the mine was also not introduced until 1980's. And that crown was for the Afgan government BEFORE the Taliban took over. The only country using it now in Iran. And to amsoho75gr: if the mine is disabled its nearly harmless. Now if someone shot it, then it might go off but the general could drop-kick that mine and it wouldnt go off.
