Yeah celebrated my 18th birthday that weekend, only time I managed to see SRV Such a sad loss to the world!!! It's so awesome that these recordings remain, although I was off my face most of the time that weekend it stirs distant memories..........

I was at this show too. Got a great recording of the performance if anybody needs one. He blew me away like evrybody else.......guitar playing has never seemed quite the same since!!

I was at that show. No one had really heard of him, me included. I was there to see Marrillion & Sabbath. Stevie was awesome. Remember him coming on playing his guitar behind his back, lots of idiots throwing bottles at him until he shut them up by blazing away, & then in little wing a flock of migrating birds flying over in formation. We knew we'd seen something special.

Very cool listening to this, I was lucky enough to be there and knew at the time he was something special.....RIP SRV fab recording- thanks
