i hear my own footsteps when using dead silence.

sitrep pro is a reverse perk.

makes your footsteps lighter and others louder.

But the enemy hear your footprints a lot louder then normal.

check out another volume setting, i can hear dead silence even without sitrep on sand when im standing still and nobody without dead silence walks near by.

what i mean with volume settings is, i have on my pc the ingame volume, the windows volume and the volume of my headset itself.

the best results i got with high volume on the headset around 90% volume and 10% bass, 75% volume in windows and 60% volume in the game.

@MicLaad1996 Sitrep pro in mw2 made your own and your allies footsteps silent but only to yourself, making the louder enemy footsteps easier to make out, though hearing ninja pro users is just as hard in LtDrouinGaming points out. Unfortunately, you can still hear your teammates and your own footsteps while having sitrep pro so it does not work as good as it use to in my opinion.

Sit-rep pro and Dead Silence have only 1 thing in common. "Sound Hoarding." Sit-Rep pro allows you to hear people footsteps louder. As long as they don't have Dead Silence equip. One thing that back fires when using Sit-Rep pro is they can hear your footsteps too. Dead Silence people can hear your footsteps louder and at longer range. People who do not have Dead Silence can only hear your footsteps at close range. I crouch when in FFA, so Dead Silence people can't hear me + I see there BB. :D

@carlosaz3 I am using sitrep pro and I can't hear SHIT for footsteps. Using the best 5.1 surround sound headset available. The footstep sound in the mix is just mixed way low and doesnt even sound like footsteps but more like a ruffling sound. They should hopefully patch this with the next update.

I like Dead Silence more than Sitrep pro because it's offensive an defensive in the fact that Your footsteps are quieter so you can hear the enemies more(offensive) but at the same time your foot steps are quieter so the enemy can't hear you(defensive).
