I have a old skool formula 1 Tamiya competition special lotus 79 video send to you as A video reaction .the F104 pro (30 Years younger)Drives much tighter .
TRF416 is easy to drive, because is a AWD(All Wheel Drive: traction on 4 tires) and Formula One chassis use Rear Traction . The speed depends on the motor that goes to use. In this video, is a Johnson Motor 540.
it depends on how many volts and amps your running, and how many turns your motor is, and your gearing, but these can hit 60 mph easily, although its tricky to control since its only 2 wheel drive and braking, cause i have one of these, and since they're direct drive, they are very fast even if you put just a 15 turn motor with 7.4 lipo, and with even less turns it just getting too fast, but i find going fast isnt everything :P i mean, whats the point of going like 80 mph if you cant control it
Well, this depends on the motor that you go to use and the type of track that anger to run. If it will be in track with long straight line, perhaps 90 Km/h or more, maybe, but with brushless 3.5t motor and adequate gear ratio . The setting for hight speed is important too.
Could you do me a favor mark a distance of 10 meters on the ground and then stand at the finish and time how long it takes the f104 to cross the finish line and then do a distance over time equation? I know i'm asking for a lot but if it's possible I really wanna thank you. Could you also tell me what kind of motor you have in it? Thanks.
Sim.
