  • Actually he did say it right! Get your facts straight. It's correct sog or s.o.g.

  • I looking at getting one for like $30

  • My friend paid 50 for his but i got mine for 40. It replace my cold steel ti lite.

  • great knife. i got mine on amazon for 35 bucks.

  • It is pronounced SOG (sawg) not S.O.G. If you are doing knife reviews you should probably pronounce the brand correctly.

  • my bad, I had heard it pronounced that way before but thought it was an affectionate term, similar to "Spydie" for Spyderco.

  • S.O.G. is the name of the company and stands for Studies & Observations Group (a vietnam era joint SPECOPS unit.) Either pronunciation is technically correct... Additionally, I found the review helpful. I would, however, like to see someone torture test one of these knives or at least show some usage instead of just talking about the knife... Another tip for future reviews: hang a sheet -- it makes a better background than your unmade bed and Special K...

  • also, what type of usage do you have in mind? what would you like to see cut?

  • 20 lb, 24 lb, and 32 lb paper... as well as tissue paper, toilet paper, newspaper, cigarette filter paper, corrugated cardboard, zip/cable ties, masking tape, duct tape, scotch tape, chicken breasts, pork butt, beef balls, and [insert your favorite animal] ribs.

  • nice

  • Hey, good job!

I like this knife; the pocket clip is great, i'm not sure about the zytel handle, g10 would had been better.

    Regards.

  • i agree, but then the knife would have a higher price!

    glad you liked the review.

  • meh... I think g10 wouldn't be a big difference than zytel. What would make a difference is steel liners on either zytel or g10. Of course then you get a lot more weight and the light weight is what makes the Flash series nice. Honestly it is a very strong knife even without liners. If you are out to really F*** it up and see how much it can take then yeah, it might bend/snap, but I haven't heard people talk about that happening.

  • I'll see if it breaks, I just ordered one, just for the perfect pocket clip.

I've handled one and it's awesome.

  • The question should be, what do you have in store? =P

  • stainless steel serrated delica

    that recon 1

    cold steel oda and oss

    crkt m16 (which i think you'd like)

a nice selection of spyderco byrd knives

a weird recon 1 which u can have for cheap as a utility knife

    crkt falcon necker

thats all off the top of my head, that i have with me

  • You know me. I'm a bargain hunter (or budget connoisseur, whichever you prefer). I looked into the reviews on the CRKT M16; not that interested in it. But what do you recommend? Or what's cheap with good value? =D

Thanks for commenting on my latest vid. I don't think I'll make another one for a while; lack of good camera and merchandise.

  • um, the m16 is the "budget" knife out of all of them.

  • Oh yeah, are you still selling any knives?

  • sure, what do you have in mind?

  • Finally! I've been expecting a knife review for a while now!

What did you pull out at 3:11?

  • cold steel recon 1
