thats all good and all to be able to solve it when its already solved one way...but I want to know how to solve it when one side isnt already done...this way if someone else mixes it up I'm not screwed...so can you tell me a way to solve it from any position?

well the whole point is to get it from the three unconnected ring to the connected rings....the only other thing u can do with it is to make different shapes and objects out of it..sorry man

In my experience, I've found that it's easy to reset to the 3 ring position by just using the basics found in the booklet that comes with it.

i would, but I was able to get it back togerther in 3 rings, then my friend broke it but i got a new one with the 3 rings perfect and good tutorial]

when I try to do the second step after taking the 2 sides and "putting it together" I can't take the top right tile and "fold it towards you" the bottom one just gets stuck and I don't want to force it I can never get that "x" thing afterwards. btw I have the same magic as yours and I'm holding it the right way (right-side up in the top left tile please help)

Um, yeah, I have the exact same one, I got it then it broke so I restringed all the rings unlinked, properly, it looks like yours when its normal, same colored squares in the background, same place, and all, but I go to link them and it doesnt?
