My dog ate chocolate and I had to use it. If you have to do it again soak it in a slice a bread and have the dog eat it.. it is easier to get down the dog. It is the worst feeling to have to do that to your dog. I am glad your baby is ok

The acid in our stomachs (hydrochloric) is also relatively mild. It'd be like mixing the acid with water. No reaction whatsoever, especially with only the 3% peroxide you get at the store (yes, that DOES mean the bottle of peroxide is 97% water). Read a book or two before you infect other comment readers with your stupidity.

Peroxide CAN be used to induce vomiting in humans, it is just not as fast or effective as Ipecac. Ipecac is EXTREMELY toxic to dogs and cats, which is why vets tell you to use peroxide.

Mulch is what is used in gardens, around tree's etc. Its decomposed natural matter like finely chopped trees, dirt, grass, leaves, and manure (Cow poop) Also you can get it with chemicals that keeps down weeds, when it first gets delivered the chemicals are in the shape of little off white pellets, about the size of your thumb, that dissolve after it rains on it.

Thanx for that info Dustin. It sounds like one of a pretty large variety of garden composts. Yes, they contain all sorts of different stuff. In the UK ,most of what gets called mulch is for surface cover, usually with lots of woodchip. Hopefully most folks are moving away from putting chemicals on their gardens these days. Bad luck for poor li'l Missy that she found that particular stuff! :-(

I was walking here when she ate it, and it worried me so I called my vet and asked them and they told me there is all kinds of stuff that they put in mulch that could kill her. They told me to put a table spoon of peroxied down her and she will throw up. I felt so bad doing it to her.
