  • lol i rode intimidator 305 but no thnx to u. I just told my self STOP BEIN A FREAKIN PUSSY AND DO IT, YOU WONT DIE

  • You really boosted my confidence on going on roller coasters thanks man :D

  • im going to bush gardens this weekend and i wanna start but do you think i should start with cheetah chase or start with scorpion

  • i live in england. there is a roller coaster at a theme park called alton towers. the roller coaster is called oblivion. could research on you tube and tell me if i should go on it? i'm terrified.

  • im not scared of rollercoasters but i hate the feeling in my stomach super bad! tears automatically come out of my eyes, its so embarrasing if im with people -.-

  • lol years ago i wouldnt even ride thunder mountain in disneyland till i got mad with myself and said, fuck it, and went on a rollercoaster

  • @Lemonwoof i live near six flags great adventure and i am terrified of roller coasters, a few months back i went on Blackbeard’s Lost Treasure Train and i cried my eyes out and swore i would never do somthing like that again. i think i maybe should ride Nitro, what do you think? am i ready?

  • @TheSilentkoala absolutely not. nitro is one of the LAST rollercoasters to ride. its the 3rd most intense in the park. i think you should try runaway train and then bizzaro

  • Lmfao your cute :P

  • I went to Thorpe park and only went on loggers leap cos I was too scared and I felt sick thinking about it. What would be the best ride to go on in Thorpe park? I heard nemesis conquers everything?

  • @ilikechocol sorry ive never been to thorpe park

  • @ilikechocol Not Nemesis Inferno. Nemesis Inferno is pretty scary and fun... but the two scariest rides of Thorpe Park (from my experience) is either: Saw - The Ride or Stealth. I've been on Saw 4 times and Stealth 2 times. To be honest, I found the first part of Saw in the dark more scary than when it did it's 100 foot drop. Stealth was like nothing I've ever felt. I mean Stealth seriously gave me such an adrenaline rush it felt like a heart attack. So,I'd say Stealth conquers all. GO ON IT!!!!

  • INSTED OF WASTING YOUR TIME GO ON THE FUCKING MOST CRAZIEST RIDE SO THEN ALL THE OTHER ONES FEEL LIKE NOTHIG

  • Dude I rode all the rides man thanks for your advice it really helped

  • Is the superman a good first one?

  • @adoglewis242 i would say no, just because it is completely unlike all of the other coasters. it makes you face down, which for some people is really scary. and the loop part makes your stomach flip. its a fun feeling, but for somebody who hasnt been on any of the big coasters yet, it might scare them. id reccomend bizarro. its not that fast, and its fun.

  • thanks for the tips I am going to try and ride a roller coaster this week I hope I get the courage to do it

  • @UselessAngelWingz Good Luck Bro i scared of rollercoaster

  • How did you come up with the youtube name Lemonwoof? SORRY that I put wayy to many posts but pleease read all of the posts please.

  • QUESTION: What does my gender have to do with anything? I Know that I make a big deal out of a lot of things... Do you like waterslides? I know I do. The weird part is that I get on the waterslides with the biggest drops, but, I have never had the courage to ride any rollercoasters. Like I have been to Ocean City and rode a waterslide that Is called the Master Blaster which is almost like a rollercoaster. It drops 60 feet and uses water jets to push you back up. Weird huh?

  • I am a girl, but Six Flags Great Adventure is a little far away, and my dad only takes me and he is embarassing. The closest parks to me are Six Flags America and Kings Dominion and Hershey Park. I live in Maryland. Like I said, I want to ride with my summer camp, and not go with my parents. Anyway the real question is: Which coasters at the parks I just mentioned are good first rollercoasters?

  • I am so sorry that the last few posts are long, but please read them!

  • Then she (the photo lady) said, " So you don't like rollercoasters?" and that struck a nerve as we left the park. I the car, I felt stupid. I wanted to cry. ( I am very sensitive)

and I made a promise to try my best to gain courage to ride a rollercoaster. I want to carry out my promise and stop worrying about it, but I need help. MY QUESTION: Can anyone help me with this situation because it means the world to me.

  • @peasoup421 Are you a guy or a girl first off, and second, watch the video! all my best tips are in it! it has 44 likes, so i thnik its pretty helpful! like i say in the video i used to be scared too. the drops arent scary. thats what i used to be most scared of. if u go back to six flags great adventure, go on bizzaro. trust me, its not scary and after u go on it u will like rollercoasters.

  • I want to ride a rollercoaster, but not tell anybody, (especially my dad) that I know. I want to go to this new camp to meet new friends that will help me to reach my goal. Before April of last year, I had no desire to ride a rollercoaster. But one day my dad took me to Six Flags Great Adventure (3 hour trip) and It was so intimidating. I refused to ride anything, (embarassing) and when we bought our park photo at the end, I said that I had a bad time at the park. Continued on next post.

  • I' rather go to the park with my (summer camp), But all of my friends don't ride rides at amusement parks, they just go to shop, and buy Monster energy drinks. Then they get all crazy, then get a headache and can't ride anything either. In summer camp we also had a new director who completely RUINED the summer. I think that I am going to go to a different camp next year. Okay, I only want to ride a rollercoaster for personal enjoyment.

  • ANYWAY, I think that I am ready for a bigger challenge. I think that I want to ride the Volcano rollercoaster. Well, the only thing that I am scared about in a roller coaster is the drop, not the inversions or the speed. Speed doesnt matter to me since I drive go karts all the time. Also I have also heard that a launched coaster takes some of the fear from the drop. Is this true? Also, I DO NOT want to go to Kings Dominion with my parents because they are so embarassing. Continued.

  • I have never rode a "real" rollercoaster before, and the closest Six Flags park to me doesn't have any small rollercoasters except the really kiddie one. So I went to Kings Dominion. At first I was scared to ride the Avalanche ride there, and that doesn't even have a drop! (I'm such a failure!) But once It is my turn to get on the ride, I never back down. And that is for every ride (not rollercoaster) that I am scared to get on. Now Avalanche is my favorite ride in the whole park. Cont.

  • Ok, just describing those rollercoasters, I felt a bit scared. I lose my voice completely just in the line for a roller coaster. I don't scream, I don't yell "Whoa!", I have a habit of clinging onto my friends in the lines. I'm even afraid of the Dragon Coaster in Kiddie Land at Canobie Lake Park. Yeah, that's how bad it is.

  • gay

  • why are ur ears pointy!!!!!!!

  • Thanks, great video!

  • he's just a kid he's not gonna know what he's talking about

  • What helps me is knowing ppl come out alive :)

  • This vid is awesome nd r really smart one thing that helps me is rather than thinking of being scared think about flying nd being free that helps! Great vid!

  • Thank you so much!! Tomorrow I'm going to ride a roller coaster. But I'm going to use your advice. :)

  • he has elf ears....... but good video :) <3

  • this actually helped thanks! :)

  • Good job :)

  • ok I was scared of them to but to day i whent on a rollercoaster your tips are great and i whent on vampire at chessington and now i love them

  • @lemonwoof i couldn't care less about how high your voice is its just how you said it, and btw nice user name

  • When you said hey guys I knew u were gay

  • @Th3b3sTb3aSt lmao hey troll why dont u go troll on somebody else' video and this was a year ago when my voice was higher stupid ass.

  • @Lemonwoof shit bro.i live in north Carolina.i know about the log flom.i love that ride.you must live in south Carolina on north Carolina or something.

  • @Th3b3sTb3aSt It's hilarious. To have come across this video, you would have needed to search "How to overcome fear of rollercoasters" or something along those lines. This kid doesn't even blink on one, and you're calling him gay. So, you're a courageless A-hole who is afraid of rollercoasters. Congrats.

  • you are gay u ass hole

  • Yo you think the Swamp Fox roller coaster in Myrtle Beach is a good starting point? It's kinda big for my first roller coaster and does have a straight drop - but I saw a video and it does not last that long.

  • @narutoscool191 i dont think the drop is the problem, from the video i wathced, it looks old and shaky. now a lot of people go on an old wooden rollercoaster as their first, and then they are usually very shaky which causes them to think all other coasters are like that, but their not. i suggest a steel coaster first. but if u still want to go on this one, just remember that not all coasters are shaky like this one. most of them arent.

  • Me and my friends are going to Thorpe Park (amusement park) and my friends want to ride the SAW first, I want to go with them. It does kinda have a straight drop and a loop but I feel I'm ready, but I'm scared too.

  • @SPIKE2TAPOUT dude, i was scared my first rollercoaster too. everybody is. the one i went on was a straight up looping coaster. my first attempt going on it i ran off crying. but then the second time i went on and it was amazing. you will like it.

  • @Lemonwoof yeah I'm sure it will kick ass, thanks for this video it really helped :) I subbed

  • STOP HATING ON HIM. HE IS TRYING TO HELP ALL OF YOU.

  • HEES AN ELF!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks man you really helped

  • Going to Orlando tomorrow; so nervous!!

  • Please look at Carolina Cyclone at carowinds and tell me if thats a good way to qonquear Sorry for spelling

  • @WePlayEverthing Well, id say yes. From the video I saw, the drop doesnt look too bad. It just has a lot of loops. It is short though. But it really depends on you. If you think you can handle it then go for it, if not, then try a smaller one then go on it.

  • @Lemonwoof Well the only problem is thats the only coaster i think i can handle but there is the carolina cobra and that goes backwards also called the (BAT)

  • @WePlayEverthing so if u think u can handle it then go for it!!!!!

  • @Lemonwoof Yeah i think i cant handle that i mean its only one loop

  • @WePlayEverthing and to answer this question.. to conquer ur fear (lol as to our convo were already having lol) try the Afterburn

  • his ears are wierd

  • @hazzaburgers 20 bucks their cooler than yours!!!!!

  • @Lemonwoof 20 pounds *

  • thanks so much! it helps and u r awesme!

  • My first roller coaster, believe it or not, I went on yesterday (technically cos it's 00:27 where I am now :P) at age 16 :o and it did have a vertical drop :P i went on Oblivion at Alton Towers in the UK :)

  • yea sad im 28 and still scared of them (i rode Afterburn 3 years ago) and it didnt help lol... neither did my 14 year old niece haha

  • @ASilentPrayer1982 Im scared to go on carolina cyclone

  • @WePlayEverthing it wasnt working (alongside The Vortex) the day we went so idt i ever saw that ride.. if it's not the type of coaster where ur feet can hang, i dont like it..lol

  • Ur so mature for your age how old are u? Thxs im gonna try this :) GOD BLESS!!!!!!

  • @luomas2 I was 13 when this was filmed :)

  • actually you can't really work your way up from small to big rollercoasters. there's just kids rides and adult rides. What i suggest is starting off on wooden roller coasters. It helps because you experience the drop feeling in your stomach and you won't be AS scared to get on non-wooden coasters.

  • @paranormalfreak222 Nope. Six flags by me has skull mountain and runaway train. Both rides that arent baby rides but arent extreme rollerocasters. So your wrong.

  • @Lemonwoof well i live in MS where we only have kids and adult coaster so i'm not wrong. your six flags is apparently more amazing than most haha

  • i live near hershey park, PA and whenever i look at a roller coaster and see the drop and how high it is it justfrightens me. whenevr i go on a rollercoaster (rarely) when theres a drop my whole body sinks and the feeling just drives me crazy. i want to be able to ride coasters with my friends but i just cant overcome the feeling i get on the drops.

  • @RedSectorFilms Well im not sure what kind of drops your talking about. Try listening to what I said in the video. Start off with the smaller drops. The smaller drops actually give u more of a feeling in your stomach then the big ones.

  • and i did the same thing with medusa when i tried same thing as u

  • im 11 and still scared im goin to six flags discovery kingdom on saturday and ill try my coaster level is still at the cobra : (

  • Very helpful, thanks!!

  • Thank you for this.

  • Your definately write about working your way up. I went to carowins once and rode the intimidator and it was my first roller coaster and i totally flipped out. It made be scared to do any other roller coaster , working your way up is a good thing to do. I still havent conquered my fear. But , some of the less intense rides are actually preety fun

  • @Lemonwoof You had great advice went yesterday for spring break and i rode every steel coaster there even our newest at SFOG-Goliath wow i love rollercoaster now thank you so much!

  • Alright 1) at the beginning of the video you talk about small rides and working you way up in incraments- that would be great if parks had smallest, small, medium, medium-big, big, biggest and so on roller coasters. That does not exist. There are kiddie rides and rides for adults; there is no in-between. 2) ALOT if parks do not have roller coasters with an inclined helix as an initial drop. I know that SFOG has two, however one is a Vekoma MK-1200 Custom and the other is a B&M flying roller coa

  • @aceattack52 Alright 1) Your completely wrong. The park Six Flags Great Adventure has the runaway train and skull mountain. Dont know them? Look them up they are inbetween rollercoasters. Theres no huge drop and their not too fast. 2) YES it has to be a big coaster I was claiming that the turn and drop is less scarier then a straight down I never said that they would be small. Get your facts straight before you try to call me out.

  • @Lemonwoof Whoa I wasn't calling you out but for someone who seems like an involved enthusiast I would have thought you would be clearer with your terms.

  • @aceattack52 Is it really that big of a deal if i didn't mention the rides I had in mind? As long as I got the point across I think thats fine itself. Ans yes you were. You basically said that everything I said in my video was wrong. Not trying to be a dick here. Just didn't appreciate you saying I was wrong all because I didn't give exact examples of what I was talking about.

  • @Lemonwoof ok I wasn't trying to chew you out for anything but I thought that you would know the terms if you are explaining things like this.

  • Hey thomas one of your subscribers, Ok so i dont now if you have ever been to six flags over georgia thats the six flags park i mostly go to, but anyway i am going to opening weekend in a 2 weeks but see i have ridin these two wooden rollercoasters over and over but see when i get in line for steel rollercoasters my stomach just flips and flops And like i chicken out my friends get mad and i just walk of the ride is there anything that can help me,,,,

  • @AntrawkssHard theres no difference really between wooden and steel. there both rollercoasters, only difference is wood can be a little more rough then steel. so theres nothing to be scared of with steel rollercoasters. even though my favorite roller coaster is wooden, i still prefer riding steel ones. they seem more reliable.

  • I have a really scary rage that goes through me when we drop. I don't have a problem with the speed, just the drop. These tips don't really help me, and plus, my friend loves rollercoasters, and basically has no fear, and she wants me to go to six flags with her. I don't want her to be mad at me if I don't want to go on the scary rides, but something telle me I should just do it!!! AAHHHH

  • @TheNoey10 Well the drop is only a few seconds long. Have you ever been on a drop? Because if you havent i thought i would hate the drop too when i went on my frist coaster cuz i thought my stomach would drop but it didn't! And it was really fun! And if your scared just close your eyes the first few times. As for your friend, If they are really your friend they will acccept that you are scared and just let it be. But you should atleast try! Good luck!

  • Hi, Its not the fear of rollercoasters, its the fear of the bars that come over your head, how could i get rid of that fear?

  • @IMALONDONER1 Im not sure i get exactly what your saying? You mean the bar that comes down on you on loop rollercoasters to hold you in?

  • @Lemonwoof YH

  • my friends made me overcome my fear it was the apheist in busch gardens, knida of glad they made me

  • @TheBoombangBOOM yes. two phrases. "Your more likely to die on the car ride to the amuesment park then on a rollercoaster". and "Go big or go home"

  • Hey well I'm going to disney world and whenever I think of going on the huge rides i get this blank feeling in my mind that I cant. I always think I'm going to fall down when I'm going on a loop. D:

  • @Julian28596 Like i said in the video, your only upside down for like a second or two. u dont feel like your upsidedown at all. and trust me you wont fall out lol :)

  • i sure hope this helps me this friday cuz im going drayton manor, my first time at a theme park and im so scared of looped rollercoasters

  • @LozzaMayhem09 Don't be! When your upside down, you don't feel ANYTHING and its literally over in 1-2 seconds. :)

  • This child helped me!!!!!!!!!

  • @Bubbles48094 Child? lol.

  • Don't listen to comments and never bring problems to the Internet kid just advice

  • i can kick his ass easily

  • thanks kid

  • Hey thanks! Yeah i was going to Cedar Point on a trip, so ill bring these tips with me, and do what you say. Thanks for the great tips!

  • Ok, Im No Longer Scared Of The Drop Really{ Cause If I Just Think The Drops Gonna Happen, I Shouldn't Be Scared And I Hold My Stomach When It Goes Down}, But The Drop Still Makes My Stomah Feel Quesy, As Usual { But People Say Thats The Best Part, Uhmm Yea.But Really I Dont Have The Confidence To Just Get On The Ride.. I Really Wanna Get On The Joker's Jinx At Six Flags America.. But iDont Have The Confiedence To Get On.. And I Hate When It Goes Fast Kinda Cause My Stomah Drop There Too. Help!Me

  • @MusicmyPassion013 Ok, well the first thing is don't be scared to go on it. Chances are you will like it. The next time you are standing infont of it, just think this. After I ride it i will be able to say i conquered my fear and i rode The Joker's Jinx. And you don't know for sure your stomach will get queezy when it goes fast and when it does the drop. You should just go on it and you will feel so accomplished after you rode it. Trust me, you can do it.

  • @Lemonwoof My Stomach Does Get Queezy When It Goes Fast Goes I Rode A Different Ride, But It Was Still Fun. And Joker's Jinx Doesn't Have Drop.. So I Think I'll Ride It Next Time.. Thanks

  • whenever i go on rollercoasters, i wouldnt make any noise, i wouldnt scream, not AT ALL. People who are beside me thinks im brave due to me as im just a teenager but what they dont know is that i got literally choked by my own fear LOL.

  • @DrDevilDD haha but screaming is good on rollercoasters. It gets all of the feelings out of your stomach

  • the vortex is a great one to start with (kings island)

  • do u live near vallejo? or sf? because u mentioned medusa

  • @hahyunlee No. Where I live we used to have Medusa but last summer it was changed into Bizzaro. It is still the same ride just diff name and diff colors.

  • @Lemonwoof i live near the moa (mall of america) and their rollercoasters are either straight down or calm. but i rode a rollercoaster that has a turned drop. and i needed to get used to gut pains and g force. i listened to this and i might go on one of the rollercoasters. but the thing im scared of is pain or vomiting or fainting. how do i get over this?

  • @145guesswho I will send you a private message because this can only fit so many letters.

  • Comment removed

  • @145guesswho :D :D awesome!!!! glad you over came your fear. :)

  • good video, im going to alton towers in a month and this is helping me.

  • I'm scared shitless of rollercoasters, xP

  • helped. good video

  • really helped. good video.

  • @Murphyjunius thanks :D
