2005 Chevy Equinox Loose Rocker Arm Engine Noise

My ls1 makes the same noise without the loud tick constantly. U think its the rocker arms?

I did have the same sound on my Mitsubishi adventure. The rocker arm is to be replaced but damn, my ride needs to be overhauled. Guess I have to wait for a week or 2.

I think that was what my dealership did to fix the loose rocker arms. The mechanic must forgot to tighten them enough the first time...

I just brought a 99 grand am with the 3.4 it's making the same noise. If the rockers are loose just tightening will fix it?

I did an intake replacement on my 97 monte carlo and have that sound. I have removed one valve cover and the rockers are loose. Still investigating why they are loose. Thanks

Wow, that sounds terrible.

I hope you don't have any more problems with that Chinese manufactured POS 3.4. Many people have HAD major issues with that engine.
