Great gun, The model 11 has been my favorite using shotgun for as long as I can remember. I like the feel of it better than the Browning A5s Ive owned. I have had a 11 in all the gauges, 16 being my personal favorite and the only on that I dont currently own LOL.
great gun remington will send you a copy of the owners manual and where to put the fricton ring and the spring its for lo or high powered shells hope it helps some
@1littlemike Well sad to report I got rid of the gun. My gunsmith took it apart and discovered a lot of small pieces have been welded back together and fitted. Basically his assessment was this gun is literally worn out. So I had about $150 in services due for work on other pistols, so I ended up trading it away. The barrel, stock, and receiver would've been work that alone if parted out.
@ChillBebop ... yeah lesson learned after that day. Took to a gunsmith after shooting it. He originally gave the same assessment. But then further concluded, after a full disassemble, found that a lot of the parts were just flat worn out. He even found a couple pieces that apparently were welded and then filed to fit back in.. In short, this shotgun was shot!
