  • Wonder what year this happed.

  • @sitdownponit123 It happened on May 19, 1990.

  • The rescue cave diver was epic he's like Chuck Norris.

  • okay, I have a question. The first guy who came out was named Allan. He was the one who was lifeflighted to the hospital. Chris was the second one and he was fine. But what ever happened to the thrid one, Ken,? It never said what happened to him. He was the one that seemed the wost!! Did he die?

  • @Ladibug0123 He died. 7:43

  • @allgood2000 OH!! Okay, thanks :) I am not the smartest

  • kisssssssss

  • i would panic 1 second after losing oxygen

  • I am about to be a certified diver. Im glad I stumbled upon this video and others. Gives me a lot more respect for training and to learn from others mistakes

  • R.I.P. KEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What amazing luck ... they get stuck in a cave and one of the best cave divers in the world just happens to be around.

    R.I.P. Ken

  • what happend to the other person? the last 1 out

  • holy SHIT THATS SCARY

  • thanx for uploading!

    :-)

    My expression: ^_^

  • Watching this makes me feel Claustrophobic!

  • this depresses me badly...i always remembered these episodes were an encouragement and there was always hope but this is the first time i saw one who died...this really devastates me

  • Man Ken was my uncle

  • R.I.P Ken!

  • so 1 out of 3 died?

  • RIP Ken

  • R.I.P. KEN

  • "each day gets a little better as long as i remember ________ " what? i coudn't understand.

  • As long as I remember him - he's still around

  • He said "..As long as I remember him, he's still around."

  • "as long as I remember him he's still around"

  • I don't know how other Paramedics get through losing patients, but I handle it by remembering what happened to my sister. I think of how much we needed someone to be there for my sister and the family, and it renews my belief that I can continue working in Emergency Medicine.

If I hadn't experienced almost losing my own sister, I don't believe I would have lasted this long as a Paramedic.

  • Bet they'll listen next time!

  • Hope so!

  • RIP Ken.

  • llol when he walked out it's like on all fours a baby was born! lolz jk jk

  • the other diver saves people and already lost four....it's like it follows him.

  • It is a labyrinth of darkness down there... once the sediment is kicked up, direction becomes virtually impossible! With nothing but solid rock overhead, there is only one way out of the caverns... IF you are lucky enough to find it! That is the advantage of being certified in specialized cave diving!

  • Could you upload the segment about the store owner who gets shot multiple times?

  • Someone else uploaded that one. Search for "Rescue 911 gun shop"

  • @allgood2000 i love your chanell i made a habit of watching 5-6 episodes daily

  • Bad outcome, but the rescue diver was at least set up for an overhead environment with extra bottle slung. I'm REALLY surprised that not one of the group did a buddy check before entering the water. I hope serves to all the viewers that you HAVE TO TAKE a cave course before diving an overhead situation.

  • sometimes as adults we forget to listen to authority

  • This had to have been the saddest episode of all. Two of the segments involved immediate death to someone, and the other one had a similar incident much later that he died in.

  • That poor man:'( they were so stupid to go down there...One minute he is alive the next minute he is gone, I was in tears:(

  • This really is a senseless tradgedy that could have been prevented. But some people are just dumb enough swim into a cave without any cave divng equiptment. Can they be anymore dumb to do that.

  • Excellent re-enactment of a disaster...bad choices all around!

  • I don't understand why they did not call 911 when or before the guy went down for them. I guess maybe they thought these guys were dead, but just in case it would've been good to have paramedics there to take him right away to the hospital.

  • They probably did, but Shatner said in the beginning that it was a remote area, so it probably took them a while to get there.

  • I think that is the only episode I have seen that someone died.

  • This might be the only segment you've seen where someone died, but there were quite a few other segments where, unfortunately, someone or some creature died.

  • the kid dies in the huffing butane episode

  • Someone also died in the epsidoe where a husband and wife in Michigan were struck by a runaway boxcar and rescued by a Trooper.

  • Then there were 98 people who died in the Dupont Plaza Hotel Fire on New Years Eve of 1986, a restaurant employee who was murdered, Jerry Anderson (a former NFL Player) drowned saving a boy from a river, victims of the Chase, Marolendd Amttrack Train Wreck in 1987, Charles Stewart murdered his wife (who was pregnant at the time, 10 children who died after a bus they were in got swept into flood waters,

  • Reply Continued

a man died in a hotel fire that was later revealed to be arson, a racecar driver died after he crashed, a man was murdered at a bar, an airplane pilot who suffered a heart attack while flying and died as a result, and bank robbers who (while on the run,) struck and killed a detective. There were others where one or more victims died, but I don't know what they were.

  • You are correct :)

  • yes it is mine too...i dont know about you but this really devastates me

  • Drowning is the #1 scariest way of dieing for me.

And to drown stuck in a cave must be the scariest shit ever...

  • Yeah, drowning or fire. Those two scare me. Unfortunately, you don't neccesaily get to choose how you go... But you can avoid this sort of thing of course.

  • i totally agree with you! drowning takes a long time!!!

  • i am cavern diver certified and that shit still makes me rather claustraphobic

  • Dude, they were so lucky there was a rescue diver available, you guys had another chance...

  • Stupid, stupid, STUPID!!! People, you only get one life. It's precious! Treat it that way! It only takes a few seconds to make a stupid decision, and end your life.

  • vote on the dvd release of rescue 911 to come out on dvd,at tvshowsondvd, com ,it is free ,rescue 911 has 462 votes so far ,if we all vote it will come out ,i had been working on a show called third watch to come out on dvd,it was the 4 most wanted show on there and they just said that it is coming out on dvd,so please lets get some votes on there to get rescue 911 in our dvd players, don't vote more then once or make more then one account they will delete all votes if you do

  • wow thats amazing even tho the other passed the other two living is great GREAT JOB FOR T THE PEOPLE WHO SAVED THE 2 BRAVE MEN

  • it's the instructors fault. stupid bitch

  • What instructor are you referring to? The young woman was just a fellow diver.

  • I would say the instructor's main mistake was not briefing these divers better about the dangers of cave diving and making sure no one even thought about entering the cave system. Shaking your finger at someone underwater doesn't usually work, especially with ego-driven young men.

  • All the divers were certified. The woman had been their former instructor, and they knew they were not supposed to enter the cave beforehand. One of them even said he knew was going to be pissed at the time he decided to enter. I don't think there was really much she sould have done about it other than wrestling them to the surface.

  • if you guys want rescue 911 out on first season or best of ,go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote ,the votes are up to 433 ,that is pretty good you guys but we need more people to vote ,God bless all the ones who have voted ,take care all

  • I'm glad to see that Chris and Alan survived this ordeal but it's too bad that Ken died but at least Woody and his buddies tried to revive him.

  • ahh this is scary!

  • What a miraculous story. I also think the company the people worked for deserve thanks, since they trained their employees in CPR. To bad more companies don't take that initiative.

  • Stinks they could not get Ken back.

  • Yes, it is very sad, but remember that in most cases they don't save ANYONE. In this time they rescued 2 out of 3 which is simply amazing.

  • Be sure to go to that website at the end and sign the petition. I'd love to see these back on or a whole new series made.

  • There is a similer segment in a later season about divers trapped while Ice Diving. Like to see that one again.

  • I watched one yesterday that haunted me.A girl was running with a steak knife to put it back, and her little brother ran into her where she stabbed him in the stomach. Some of these episodes are really scary and hard to get out of your head.

  • I agree temariohoh, however, I have my two girls, 7 and 8 watch them all the time and I have noticed that while the eps can be scary it has really changed their behaviour and made them much more conscious of their actions and what to do if something happens. xoxo

  • Yeah that true but i just ignore it becouse i now i will be seeing that kind of suff in the future.

  • What a hero.. And the 2nd save was amazing. The air he expelled on the first save actually revived the guy... Amazing.

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing. How frightening would that situation be for a diver.

  • Oh bummer, you beat me to it.
