  • But the fact is that Government reaches the masses, not just 100,000 children like Care, its all over the Pakistan. There are better gov. schools as well, NWFP has a very good gov. educational system, specially Hazara division, the highest literacy rate division in Pakistan, depends on gov. schools and they are better quality than highlighted here. NGOs are generally known for large scale corruption as well, giving loads in the name of Administration. But Care/citizen/insaf are better ones!

  • CAN YOU DENY THE FCAT THAT WHY NO OTHER NGO WAS ALLOWED TO COMPETE FOR SUCH SCHOOLS AND HOW AND WHY CARE SUCCEEDED IN GETTING ALL OF THE LAHORE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS. hope u will accept reality AND STOP ACCUSING PAKISTAN GOVERNMENT FOR SOME DOLLARS.

  • there is no doubt that government infrastructure is the biggest and as such it has many problems. now what the NGOs do, they blame such weaknesses and exploit situation to their favour. as far as the CARE is concerned, its taking over of municipal schools without completing any lawful and legal procedures is known to every journalist in lahore and we are more aware of tariq aziz connection.

  • government infrastructure is doing great job by giving free education to poor students. however, NGOs like CARE molest the honor of their country by acting as beggers before foreign donors for some dollars. CARE's role in education is very limited and small. it should also need to reveal how it occupied municipal schools in lahore in musharraf era thru tariq aziz

  • @abbotroad I think that you need to check your facts, and maybe also visit the government schools that you have mentioned are doing a great job! If you watch the video, the state of government schools is clearly in front of you. If they were doing such a great job, then literacy rates in Pakistan would not be plummeting. There would have been no need for organizations like CARE Foundation to come in to existence.

  • @abbotroad . In addition, you need to check your facts regarding CARE. Firstly, it is doing a phenomenal job, and all of the funds are channeled in an extremely transparent manner. Secondly, it has no political involvement, so I do not know why you mentioned Tariq Aziz. Thirdly, CARE has not and does not solicit "foreign funding". NGOs like CARE might actually be saving the honor of the country that our politicians are bent on destroying. So please, check your facts,

  • punjab education foundation is doing the same job with more precision and in an organised way in 29 districts of punjab by involving 2000 partner schools where one million poor students are getting absolutely free education. i fail to understand why NGOs mafia in pakistan is bent upon defaming government sector for the sake of some bucks.

  • Great video, and excellent work on the part of CARE Foundation.

  • @fatimazaziz ITS NOT SO GREAT BUT BEGGING EXERCISE FOR MORE FUNDING
