Okay the weight on the bottom of the penholder is extra nibs twist it off and you'll find them. Sorry, don't mean to sound like jerk but you should really gett all the info you can that's reliable before making a review. Plus vodka shot glass? Really?

You received a defective mouse. There are ribs on the wheel and they are quite well defined. Depressing the mouse wheel takes a decent amount of pressure, and the autoscroll function is never accidentally activated when I use it, and I have strong hands. I suggest you try another Intuos4 mouse, as mine works perfectly.

I'm intending to get on of these, but forums say that the new surface of the tablet eats nibs, like in a matter of weeks.

So i'm not really sure whether to get this, but the tablet does look much better than the intuos 3.

if hes used to draw on paper he can buy the wacom inking pen so you can pout the paper on the wacom intuos 4 and use the wacom inking pen to draw

ahh but the cintiq is £1,000-ish, so for people who can't afford to have that wonderful luxary, the intous4 is the next step down.

@Fattyrat I don't think the intuos4 is a step down from the cintiq, I think they both rule in their own category... it is all about personal preference and I know a lot of people who prefer the intuos because they like drawing on the pad and looking at a screen with their hand not in the way... plus the intuos4 has way more controllability since it has x2 the pressure sensitivity then the cintiq.

I think they both are awesome for their own reasons.

Yes I agree with that, but the cintiq is also looked upon by many as some form of luxary because of the screen on the pad for the reasons that bloke said up there.

I have an intous4 (from christmas) and love it to bits, don't get me wrong on that. My statement was defending it as I didn't feel it was right to compare them, as, like you said they're in different catagories.
