The trick is in the transmission and drive train. The motor can easily be de-tuned to lower the Hp output. Once the balance issue is worked out. Holding the bike up right is easy. Have you ever tried to hold a Honda Goldwing up once it starts to lean when parked? BTW there was once a bike with "2" small block chevy's in the custom frame. Only fucker that could ride it was the one that built it.

@biggunzcdb The thing is, the 5.0 will do it for the next 30 years with ease. It doesn't need to rev to 9000 to get those numbers. With a little ECU tuning, it will do 350-400 NA.

@walperstyle i dont have a 1000hp sbc i have a 40 over 350 with head work and 280 cam that makes 450 on pump and almost 500 on race gas and is still streetable and cost only2grand good luck on building 4 banger you will need 10 grand plus and 1 hell of a fi tune and at least a 30 mill or bigger turbo but its possible dont expect more than 400 ft lbs of torque tho my preferance to chevy is out of reliability and cost and as far as the kid comment im 2 yrs older than you

@biggunzcdb I have a GT3582R turbo, crower rods, 8.6/1 CP pistons, probably at minimum going to have a AEM series 2, but perhaps a Vipec computer. I actually have about $8000 into it right now. Fuel pump, computer. Thats all I have left. ka-t dot org...come school us. Chevy 350 is no better then a 302... its just an engine.
