I listen to PL since the beginning and though they changed their sound 3 times (subjective opinion) now i always loved the intense, emotional sound. Well, if they'd published more Albums like Draconian Times, Icon, etc. it just had ended in becoming boring. If a band exists so long it is inevitable that it progresses at one point. And its okay. I dont wanted them to copy themself over and over again.

They're a bunch of lovely guys with a great sense of humor who know how to do their job, and always do it in an excellent way. Long live PL, the soundtrack of my life.

Man am I looking forward to this album or what! I admit I havent really been paying that much attention to the band, since Draconian times. But then I heard some stuff from In Requiem by accident. And I was blown away! This upcoming seems like it's actually going to top everything else!

Same here, Draconian lost me too. Ive had both Gothic and Shades on mu Zune in rotation for years and then I heard requiem about a week ago and thought hmm what are these guys doing. To my suprise they have a new CD and have moved back towards the Doom/Death spectrum.

oh, i'm very deep into music for nearly 25 years... gothic was something special, an absolute unique album that defined a hole genre. the guitar harmonies and melodie-lines were fantastic... i miss all these elements in todays releases, there was no further-development in their music, they became goth-metal-mainstream
