Punk has always had enemies, 80's it was glam, 90's it was nu-metal and post-grunge, now we have emo and metalcore. Its' all the same, we need people to know were better than :)

It's my favorite song on this planet. I own every song by Bad Religion and I really wish more people had the patience to listen to some band as amazing as them. But that isn't the case. 3. I listen primarily to 'punk', but I also enjoy 'screamo' (Post Hardcore, metal, and countless other subgenres, and I see nothing wrong with that). There are so many shitty bands that you are probally association 'screamo' with like escape the fate and brokencyde, who, in my opinion are worthless bands who sing about nothing. I listen to bands like In Flames and Senses Fail, who sing about real life problems.

It evolves just the same as everything else and thus they sign some of these bands you say are "gay"...when it's all just a part of punks evolution. You hating on other scenes is just the same as them hating on you. So no, we don't need to "bring punk back", we need to let it grow and evolve and give birth to new expressions of new angst, to be appreciated by a new generation.

BR has stayed true to their art for almost 35 years and if you are a true fan you will know that not a single album has slipped.
